Fabulous first-ever vist to Farrell's (on Davis Islands) today!
Nicole, at the counter, provided an excellent welcome and orientation to the menu, and overall wonderful customer service! My Reuben (on ciabatta bread... my choice) was the BEST sandwich I've ever had outside of NJ & NYC! My Uncle ordered a Philly Cheesesteak sandwich, and expressed similar sentiments of (highest praise). We'll be back soon! 🤗

We only went here for the ice cream. Atmosphere was sports like, all the pictures and memorabilia were of the Dolphines and everything was the team colors Green and Orange.

From San Diego, heard this is the best chicken salad in all of Davis Island / Tampa area and had to try it.
It is in fact, THE BEST chicken salad in the area.
Highly recommend this place 10/10

I wanted to share my experience during our first visit. I brought my child here after school, and we ordered a Philly cheesesteak and ice cream. An older gentleman took our order and was very friendly. However, after he went to the back to prepare our food, we were attended to by another staff member—a skinny guy with glasses and a ponytail—who was preparing the ice cream.

After finishing my son's ice cream, he took off his gloves and seemed uncertain about my order when I politely reminded him that I had also ordered ice cream. His demeanor came across as agitated and condescending, which made our experience uncomfortable. Despite there being only two other customers in the restaurant, he seemed overwhelmed and stressed. It appeared that even simple tasks like walking and talking were too much for him.

If it weren’t for the older gentleman’s kindness, I might have considered not returning. I hope this feedback helps improve future customer experiences.

Thank you for your attention.

Best,
Drea

We typically get a breakfast item on a croissant that is really pretty good. The service is quick and the coffee is hot though, sometimes the coffee runs out and they’re not too attentive making sure the pots are full. The hamburgers are excellent and come out on a brioche bun and probably some of the best fries you’ll find in Tampa. For the feel of an old-fashioned soda shop this is a place to go.

Don’t get me wrong, I’ve been coming here for years and the club never fails me. However, the girl working right now has a horrible attitude and seems like she wants to kill herself. The workers here have never been welcoming and for what you’re paying it’s ridiculous.
