Honestly food it wasn’t horrible, but I paid 16 dollars for just straight noodles. In my dish all my “beef” was just fat and if that’s what you like go ahead but when I pay for beef and it’s all fat I’m not going back. The WORST part was at the end when I got my check they had a suggested tip part and I saw 20% was 6.43 on a $16.07 check. I knew that wasn’t right so I calculated 20% of 16.07 and it was 3.22 so they basically just doubled the tip. Lying to their customers. The arrogance. I won’t be back.

7.25.25 update: not what I remembered and recommended to many friends over a year ago before I moved out of Tampa. Seasoning changed. Skewers were overcooked. And no beef noodle soup for dinner - what's the deal?

This is real authentic Chinese cuisine more specifically it’s northern Chinese cuisine. Very similar to what you would find in Beijing or Shenyong. They had a great selection of beef, chicken, pork, lamb, shrimp, dishes, and skewers. They also had more exotic fair, such as squid, frogs, chicken feet, pork belly, beef heart, beef tripe, and duck bleed. It’s pretty awesome! The service was great even late at night and we really loved the cucumber salad and the grilled eggplant. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who loves authentic Chinese cuisine.

Went for a quick lunch. The food was served fast. It was okay, nothing exceptional, but good for people looking for some spicy shichuan. Portions were generous.

Tampa doesn’t have much Chinese food so this place is something. Got the grilled fish, pork rib stew, and sweet sour pork. That sweet sour pork always hits and not many spots even do it. Fish was fine. Definitely not LA or NY level but it holds it down

A great place for authentic Chinese food. no frills or gimmicks. We got the lamb skewers, malatang, and chongqing chicken. All were 10/10.

This place should be shut down by the health department! The past two weeks I have walked by the windows and the business is closed for two to three days in a row with the table by the window has plates of half eaten food, beer bottles and cigarette butt's covering the whole table!! I can only imagine how dirty the kitchen area is!!!! I only gave a 1 star to post!!!!!

They were out of half of the items that we would like to order at 6pm on a Thurs night. How could you open up for dinner and be out of all the noodle dishes that early? Our server was super confused, he told us to get our own beers from the fridge. The skewers are delicious but not sure if this place is worth returning to.

I drove 45 minutes to try this place because it says on Google they’re open at 11:30 AM — I arrived at 1:20 PM and the doors were still locked with no sign or update. Extremely unprofessional.

To make things worse, I looked through the window and saw a messy dining area filled with empty plates, beer bottles, and cigarette packs — clearly, people were smoking inside the restaurant, which is a huge health code violation.

This place is not only unreliable but also clearly doesn’t care about cleanliness or basic restaurant standards. Extremely disappointed. Avoid this place.

I went on a Sunday about an hour after they opened so it wasn't super busy yet. The server was very sweet and she was delightful. I ordered white rice and a lamb skewer and a pork belly skewer. The rice was so fluffy and delicious. Both the lamb and pork belly skewers were the chef's kiss.... They are incredibly delicious and savory. I would highly recommend trying the many skewers they offer!!
