Forbici Modern Italian is one of my new favorites in Tampa. Located in beautiful Hyde Park, the experience here can be whatever you choose. The food is excellent, and the pricing is extremely reasonable... especially for the quality and variety the kitchen puts out. One of the keys to their success is their wonderfully attentive Staff. Their teamwork is very apparent in the way they operate and help one another, making sure guests always have someone close by to see to their needs. And they always have excellent visiting musicians to entertain, not obtrusively, but enjoyably. Thank you, Forbici, for making me feel at home in our new home of Tampa. JB
As usual, it was a fantastic dinner! Impossible Meatballs, Eggplant Parm, and Wedge Salad were tremendous. We had a comfy booth on the edge of the restaurant (highly recommend). Our server was excellent!

Some of the worst Italian food we've had, and we have eaten lots of Italian. Waiter rushed us and was obviously upset that we didn't order alcohol with our meal. Food lacked flavor and salt. Just not a good meal or experience. Bummer.
