This place is cute and has a lot of potential to be the neighborhood spot. A few things to help improve this location would be
1. Cleanliness. Your carpets look like they've never been vacuumed since the dawn of time. Your couches are also always dirty. Floors need to be swept daily. Tables need to be wiped down regularly.
2. Baristas, although its a neighborhood local coffee shop; the baristas should still be somewhat presentable. Most of them look like they don't own a hair brush. And just woke up in the clothes they wore. I understand the struggle of a coffee shop job but there should still be a standard.
3. Food. Though the pastries are creative and home made, which we love. The other food options are very limited in terms of variety. It would be nice if there could be a few healthier options that don't come on bread. Like eggs bites or Fritata.
All in all, such a cute spot and location.Theres alot of coffee shop history at this location. Xoxo : TD

Good coffee just don't stop here if you have anywhere you have to be. Multiple visits, possibly the slowest coffee shop in the country for no apparent reason. Lots of customers just standing around looking at each other like "why is this taking so long". Not how you want to start your day.

The food and drinks here are absolutely fantastic, but the service is always sub-par.
I’m not asking for someone to be a ray of sunshine in the morning, but if I ask a question and the only thing that I get is an attitude, I will match energy. This is the last time I will ever go to Ybor City Coffee and Tea Co as a local to Ybor.
I’ve been coming to this coffee shop for quite some time and I’m usually greeted nicely and my food comes to me quickly. I usually have great service and my food and drink are ALWAYS delicious. If you do decide to try this place out, I recommend the breakfast Cuban or the breakfast croissant since they are both absolutely delicious and made to perfection. I also always order the matcha latte with lavender and the baristas always do a wonderful job making a delicious and aesthetically pleasing drink. Their scones are wonderfully made as well (I suggest trying any of their pastries).
Today I came in and I figured they would have a limited menu since it was right after a hurricane came in. I was attempting to order food but the cashier was extremely rude to me when I was asking them questions about what they did/didn’t have. Let me be clear, I do not care that they had a limited menu, I just wanted to understand what I could order to make it easy on everyone. I don’t know who the cashier was but he was extremely rude, rolling his eyes as I was asking him what WAS available and I don’t know what I did to deserve this treatment but that is unacceptable. If I came after this dude screaming because I couldn’t get a sandwich, I would understand his animosity… but I was not doing that. It’s strange that so many people take offense to questions when I was just trying to understand what they had. When I was checking out, the cashier was looking to see how much of a tip that I left him too which was still a $1 but now I’m angry that I even gave him anything. The barista that made my drink was extremely polite and kind but that didn’t make up for his buddy’s attitude. As much as I love the food and matcha from this place, I will never be back due to this.
As you can see the food and drink is not what is wrong with the establishment, it is the service. I plan to tell other residents about this experience to see if it is the same across the board but all I can say is that some people do not deserve kindness.

Historic vibe in Ybor City! Cortada is on point too! Nice decor. Plenty of seating for a small place.
