Went here will a party of 11. I told them I was not going to be eating or drinking anything as I am fasting. Everyone else we went with did eat. I was told that I have to pay whether I ate or not if I wanted enter. I paid for my wife and two children to eat as well as for myself so that I could sit with my my family for a special occasion. I did not eat or drink anything not even a glass of water. Won't be coming back.

Experience with Yvonne was excellent I had a tough moment and she was there to help me.Appreciated the service
Having been to many casino restaurants and buffets in my life, I can confidently say that the buffet at the Tampa Seminole Hard Rock Casino is by far the worst and here’s why:
1. Misleading information
I was thoroughly disappointed with my visit. Prior to my arrival, I spoke with a representative over the phone who assured me that the buffet would feature a variety of seafood, including lobsters, steaks, and crab legs. However, upon arrival, I found that none of these items were available. It felt incredibly misleading to have been informed otherwise.
2. Poor quality of food
The quality of the food was subpar; everything was dry and cold, making it feel like I was eating leftovers. The shrimp and most other seafood options were not fresh, all the meats were dry, and even the salads and vegetables lacked freshness. The only thing I truly enjoyed was a small cheesecake.
3. Poor service
I was also unhappy with the service; the waitstaff, including the waiters and waitresses, did not bother to take my buffet plates, which added to the frustration.. detracting from what should have been an enjoyable dining experience.
Honestly, even one star is not enough, but I have to give one star because I have no other options. Overall, I left feeling frustrated and unsatisfied. I had high hopes for this buffet based on the information I received, but it did not deliver on any front.
So, please save your time and money and look for dining options elsewhere.

Horrible after years closing you would think they would come back better then ever, nope. It’s all gross. $50 an eat bland food. Add crablegs for that price. I’ll make sure to eat before coming back to the casino.

EDIT- post covid re opening
I wanted to come to see what’s changed.
The Asian section is not here anymore and I did loved to have that section option, they had udon noodles and dumplings that are missed. The 3 sushi options did not look good enough to try today.
Came in at Patrick’s day lunch , pretty empty salon so got seated right away. Salad bar is the same, the other sections were open too. I have to say the desserts were a 10, that has not changed. All but the flan, that was a 1, please re visit recipe being South American we know the flan flavor and that was not good at all.
The food variety was not bad, there was risotto, pasta, pizza, beef stew, lamb leg, traditional Irish dishes, tacos, fried shrimp and fresh shrimp, to name a few. I do get there sense “something missing”, maybe another way to get a good steak or not fried fish would be nice. We ate well and left full. For lunch price and all you can eat nowadays you don’t really eat in most places for $25 having so many options when applying your $5 card discount so even though I do hope they add more meats or crab legs, overall my experience was good. Will be back and hope Asian section opens up!
Friday night buffet at Hard Rock in Tampa did not disappoint.
There was a glazed salmon that's was amazing and a few other entrees that were good too.
No complaints on any of the food!
The dessert takes the price. Make your own crepe was fantastic, fresh fruits and vanilla creme plus whipped cream and caramel made it the best of the night.
The tiramisu was on point too, creme brûlée and chocolate mousse were amazing too.
The waiter was super fast refilling our drinks eve though it was a busy Friday night.
Cannot wait to go back!

Won’t be going until the buffet is open again. You would think that they would use gloves and open up. This was 3 years ago. I only left 1 star.
Came back didn't know they reopened until today. March 16, 2025. I upgraded my stars. The food was much better before COVID. No Mongolian grill, we couldn't find steak or raw oysters. No Chinese section either. Dessert was good as always. But won't come on Sunday. We'll try for weekdays.

We were disappointed. The peel and eat shrimp were about the size of a nickel. The clam chowder was good. The ribs were not edible and cold as was the shish-kabob. The Italian sausage was cold and not very good. The prime rib was so salty I couldn't eat it, but it was tender. Most of the mussels and steamers were fine. The filet was very good as was the salmon
I also liked the oyster rockerfeller. Desserts were good. We have eaten at all of the restaurants in Tampa Hard Rock and would go back to all of them but the buffet. Over priced and under performed.
Very disappointed. Not what it used to be.

Glad they reopened but won’t be going back as the prime rib was dry and not cooked even close to anything medium rare or rare. Also no oysters only cheap mussels as the replacement, what a disappointment from once was an amazing buffet (pre-Covid) to now a husk of its former glory days. With now at $50 dollars a head, really expected more.

Since the reopening, the food is extremely underwhelming. It all looks nice, but the taste just isn’t there. I’m saddened, because this was once my favorite buffet.
Please bring back original recipes.
Also, bring back raw oysters, and raw clams.
This was my first visit since they reopened. I read reviews before going and saw so many negative ones so was not sure what to expect. I can honestly say, my experience was great. I went for brunch. There is a wide variety to choose from. Everything was good. The presentation and cleanliness was superb. The server was very friendly and attentive. I will definitely go back and highly recommend.
