this place is grimey and the service was terrible. I went to change my infant daughter in the bathroom, and a bus boy was in there for several minutes, just running the sink and ripping towels. after like 5 minutes of that, he came out apologizing, and toilet was left unflushed...all that time in there and he still didn't clean up after himself. waitress forgot to bring my mother her drink until like 20 minutes after ordering our food. by the appearance of this place you'd think it was homey and warm, far from it.

We stopped here for brunch and the atmosphere is nice but that’s really the best part. Service was very slow, took like 15 minutes just to get a round of waters. When my hot coffee came out there was lipstick on my cup. The food was unremarkable. At the end, we were told that gratuity was included because we were a party of 6. Our server probably spent less than 3 minutes total “serving” us, and our party consisted of 4 adults and two toddlers. When asked why they counted a toddler who didn’t even get her own food, we were told “well they probably ate off your plate”.

The only reason I’m giving 1 star is for the atmosphere but, the service was very slow and my food was soggy from sitting in the kitchen too long and they charged me an additional $4 for new chips. We had 4 adults and 2 toddlers and they put automatic gratuity on because we were a party of 6 even though we weren’t ordering for the two toddlers. Our server Jasmine said it’s because they can eat off our plate?!?!?! Good to know because we will not be bringing toddlers who don’t even eat their own meal here. My bill for MYSELF was $50. I had high hopes for this place, it looks cute but it was very disappointing and I will not be back.

Absolutely atrocious service on both occasions I've gone there. First time it took forever and the waitress was rude about everything. This time we waited about 15 minutes without even being offered coffee and left without ordering. I have no idea how anyone likes this place. Hands down my worst dining experience in Tampa Bay TWICE, and I eat out a lot. It takes a lot for me to leave a negative review, but this place has absolutely earned it!

I wish I could even write a review on the food but we couldn’t even get our order taken down to do so… went to the host stand and was seated as a party of two without menus. Waited 10 min, and had to ask for a menu. After finally receiving one, waited another 15-20 min for someone to actually acknowledge us and get our drink order… we ordered an iced coffee & a hot coffee. After waiting another 20 min (not even joking on the time) I got a coffee that was watered down. Asked the server if we can just leave & we left. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.

We will definitely be coming back! We came around 6 and sat at the bar. The ladies behind the bar were amazing.
Food ordered:
Nachos (got them with queso and shredded cheese like bartender suggested)
Meatloaf dinner (mashed potatoes/vegg.)
Brisket sandwich
Fish and chips
Drinks:
Smoked old fashion
Local beer
What I'd order again:
The fish and chips were delicious. The fish was crispy, fluffy, and flavorful, the fries were seasoned, crispy, and soft on the inside.
Mashed potatoes/veggie we're flavorful and had a great texture.
Nachos were big enough for an entree to feed 3-4 people. Huge, yummy, satisfying. Port gravy was yummy as well.
The smoked old fashioned was literally the best I've had. It was smooth, balanced, and strong.
The smoke complimented the drink vs. overpowering it. She used a real maraschino cherry/orange slice for garnish. Hands down the best one I've had which surprised me.

Great spot with a cozy atmosphere! The red sangria was delicious, and the 99-cent wings were cooked perfectly—nice and crisp. I had the Asian and medium buffalo flavors, and both were excellent. The service was friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. Definitely coming back!

Great atmosphere, food and drinks!
Filled with character and personality, Front Porch is a neighborhood joint. This was my first visit (breakfast) and I’ll be back. Benedicts are legit tasty. Tip: you can substitute potato cakes for the muffins. Delicious! The salmon omelette wasn’t our favorite. Kinda dry. Feedback for the owners: you need to offer hot tea at breakfast. Totally silly that only brewed coffee is available.

We are weekly regulars and highly recommend to anyone in Tampa area. Daily drink and food specials to appease anyone’s appetite for drink or food. Incredible weekly chefs specials that range in wide eclectic flavors. Southern hospitality at its best. Make sure to try their wing special on Fridays and Saturdays for a dollar a wing…. In my opinion they should win Best of the Bay, hands down.

First time, the food and drinks were really good, large portions for the money. Server was nice and attentive.
Only negative would be, no large table for groups, we had to sit at separate tables near each other in groups of four

Food was okay but nothing to brag about. Took a looong time for food to come out once ordered. Very close quarters. Recommend you make reservations on a weekend.

Decided to come here for a cute little breakfast and mimosas. The building and atmosphere is so cute and homey feeling. I wish I could rate the food, however we stood outside waiting to be seated or even greeted for 25 minutes. We decided to just try some place else. There were 2 people sitting on the porch, looked like they were waiting for service too; the lady was pissed. Maybe try adding a doorbell outside or something.
