Found a great Vietnamese restaurant today. Such friendly service with great food. My mom made the best pho but Gao Restaurant is almost as good. (In my opinion, no one can make better pho than my Mom❤️). They also had a dish I had never tried before.. It's the Hanoi style vermicelli dish. My husband ordered it and I had the classic combo pho. Both were delicious and flavorful...not MSG based...sorry no pics. Note: my ratings are based on the food, right pricing (or better) and clean environment. Not meant to be restaurant lux level or comparison to lux/gourmet.

Best Phở in Tampa, period! The broth is savory, the meat portions are generous, and the herbs are as fresh as they get. It’s hard to find a place that maintains this level of traditional flavor. Clean, cozy, and delicious. If you're a Phở lover, this place is a must-visit. 10/10!

Service : 11/10 The staff was friendly and incredibly helpful. Not only suggestive they will explain how dishes are typically eaten if you've never had them before. (Ive never had dry noodles before)
Food : 10/10 Absolutely loved our dishes. The broth is excellent and clean. Meat was tender, and the shrimp were plump and perfect.
Price & Value 10/10 : Its very hard to find portions this generous for the price now a days. Money well spent!
What a great little gem!! Not only was the food wonderful from the pho to the rice but our waiter was so pleasant and so helpful, providing suggestions on how to enjoy the meal even more with adding certain flavors (condiments) to the meals. This place isn’t close to our home but we’ll definitely return.

This was our first time trying Vietnamese cuisine, and it could not have been a better introduction. The service was absolutely outstanding from start to finish. The gentlemen working this evening took the time to walk us through the menu, explain the dishes, help us choose our meals, and even offered taste tests, which made the experience both comfortable and enjoyable.
The food was amazing—everything tasted incredibly fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared. You can truly tell that care goes into every dish.
The restaurant itself was spotless. Cleanliness was easily five stars, which made us feel even more confident and relaxed while dining.
We will absolutely be coming back and will be recommending this place to all of our friends. If you are considering trying Vietnamese food for the first time—or if you already love it—this place is a must-try. Highly recommen
