Gasparilla Distillery & Cocktail Bar

I don’t usually write reviews, but I have to say that we love this bar. We went during the Romance Pop-Up and it was packed, but the bartenders handled everything so smoothly. Drinks were amazing, and Makayla was there, as always, she’s seriously the best and makes everyone feel like she’s known them forever. This is definitely a REPEAT spot for us. Drinks are reasonably priced and the staff can’t be beat!

Gasparilla Distillery and Cocktail Bar is truly a hidden gem! From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is warm and inviting. A huge part of what makes this place special is the staff. Michaela and Jay are the heart and soul of this bar. Tried to get a drink here. 2 bar tenders and only about 6 people at the bar. Stood around for about 15 minutes and wasn't acknowledged. 2 stars because it really is a good looking bar. Just wish I could have had a drink.

The place has its unique touch of originality with the Pirate Theme. Very speak easy like atmosphere. The drink menu is definitely on point and the staff Deserves all of the stars in this review as they’re Friendly and responsive to ensure great customer service is provided. Their Spice Rum is on point!

Good place for drinks, they have a parking lot and there is more parking nearby. The highlight of the night was the latin music and lesson. They do that every other Wednesday. The atmosphere is festive, and we had an amazing time.

We took the tour and we were really impressed by our guides knowledge and friendliness. When it came time for out tasting she gave us a lot of good recommendations for each of us.
The place is pirate themed with many good photo opportunities.
We will definitely be going back. We can't wait to bring out of town guests.

We spent 3 days at Gasparilla Distillery & Cocktail Bar with the AC/DC Pop Up Shop. This is a excellent venue to hold events. The owner is super nice and goes out his way to help. All the bartenders were so friendly and nice. I tried the Butter Beer drink one evening and it was delicious!! If I was a Floridian this would be my hangout!! Not to mention they have the most awesome badassifers for babies! Of course I bought 2 for my grandbaby on the way!!

We were here from out of town and happened on the ac/dc pop up store. We stayed for the drinks! The rum punch is amazing, and so is the beer. What really makes this place great is the owner and bartender. Super friendly and helpful, explaining how they make their own lavender vodka and blue curaçao. Go if you can!!

Lovely little distillery! The pirate theme and atmosphere added to the experience. This is nice place to relax and taste delicious rums! Decently priced too.

This is a nice place to get out of the sun and enjoy some a flight of rum. I had the outdoor space to myself because of the cooler weather. I guess you have to be from Chicago to appreciate the 60s temperature in February. I didn't notice the no smoking sign until I was well into my cigar, but no one else was out there to disapprove. It's a short walk from the heart of Ybor.
