I normally wait to do my review, I am here for 3 days, I made the mistake to order the shrimp and grits and now that is all I am thinking about! Delicious, trying to think how to order 2 and not look gluttonous. Creamy, smooth and shrimp were perfect.

This restaurant is an oasis. After Hurricane Helene, my wife and I came here for an escape. It was packed, however, service was timely despite the large amount of people in the bar with us. I got the buffalo wings and my wife got the ceaser with salmon. The wings were crispy and coated in one of the best buffalo sauces I've ever had! My wife said the salmon perfectly complimented the salad and had the right mix of crisp and flavor. I would definitely recommend this resuraunt to anyone having a hard day and they need a pick me up or anyone passing by!

Had breakfast the first day we arrived. The avocado toast was soggy and poached eggs were hard. The next day I ordered their standard breakfast with scrambled eggs and sausage with grits. Instead of sausage I got bacon. The eggs must of been powdered and grits were cold. I was the only one in the restaurant!!

Someone said this place was a hidden gem and they were right! Exceptional service by all the staff ranks high on the list of why to stop in- servers, bartenders, and even Chef came out to say hello and delivered a complimentary dessert! We dined for breakfast and again for dinner, both times unable to finish the huge portions. The atmosphere is also great!

Breakfast...food is good but there is only ONE server and they are overwhelmed. We gave up and left before ordering one morning.
Dinner...the menu isn't thrilling but the service is better.

Our server sat us (party of 4) and only gave us 1 menu for everyone to share and look at. We waited over an hour for our breakfast. We were there at 8:45am today and the restaurant was not busy at all. Not sure what took so long. I ordered the avocado toast. It tasted delicious, but the portion size was insulting. It was 1 piece of toast cut in half with avocado thin layer of avocado, chopped basil, a few halved cherry tomatoes, and a balsamic drizzle. Had I known this tiny meal fit for a 5 year old was what I’d receive, I would’ve ordered something else or just skipped Gaudin and went somewhere that serves full portions. I’m not a big person- 5’2” and 115lbs. That tiny tiny breakfast was not enough. I went there hungry, waited an hour for food, then left hungry. I ended up going elsewhere after so I could get more food. My husband said his food tasted freezer burnt, and his coffee mug looked used and dirty. My friend’s chicken biscuit sandwich was dry and quite frankly looked gross. And my other friend’s blueberry pancakes came out cold. Between the extremely long wait time and tiny portion sizing I give 0/10 and do NOT recommend the Gaudin. Will not be returning.

Can't rate the food, took over 30 minutes to get water and a menu. Not busy, just poor service. 2 other parties came and left due to the same. Will not return.
