Poor Customer Service from the Blonde Girl
I don’t want to be rude—I don’t even know her name, but she was blonde. There were a few customers at the bar, but I wasn’t served any drinks. Instead, I was left waiting for even the slightest bit of kindness. Unfortunately, she wasn’t friendly at all.
This was my first time visiting, and as someone who works in the industry, I like to take time to explore new places and try different flavors. I’m not sure if she’s the manager or the owner, but her customer service was terrible—she looked at me with contempt and clearly didn’t want to serve me.
What she doesn’t realize is that I could have brought her a lot more business. It’s disappointing to encounter people in customer service who have no idea what it means, especially in today’s world. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning, and I can’t recommend this place.

Atmosphere: really quiet, mostly people studying on computers. Almost too quiet to talk, but the indoor decor is cute. Seating can be limited during lunch hours
My home away from home! If you’re looking to chill, make friends, or simply catch a vibe this is your place. They have the best tasting kava EVER and are passionate about crafting you the perfect beverage to keep you coming back for more! There are special events weekly, daily deals on drinks, and even rooftop yoga on Sunday mornings. One of my favorite events is the clothing swap that occurs every fourth Sunday. It’s amazing to see the community (and businesses) join hands in bettering the lives of all and I always leave with a cute lightly used outfit while also being able to recycle my used clothing I no longer wear. I love Grassroots!

Grassroots Kava House has quickly become my favorite spot to recharge. Been coming here a few months now, and it’s consistently amazing. The kava-tenders—Jesska, Alicia, and Jordan—are genuinely kind, generous, and always welcoming. They set the perfect vibe every single time. The patrons are fantastic too—just great energy all around. Love this place!

Friendly, chill atmosphere and fun drinks! When you need a coffee in the evening, this place far exceeds stopping at a gas station somewhere. The menu has kava, kratom, tea, and coffee options. I think also adding some signature coffee drinks to the menu would go a long way!
