Gulf Coast Sourdough Sandwich House

Great sourdough — I’m particularly fond of their sandwich bread (black pepper turmeric is a standout for me) and cinnamon rolls. They also sell 15 year starter for less than a buck if you’re into baking your own. Their weekly specials keep me coming back for lunch, always something to look forward to! Tiny spot that packs a serious punch.

Very friendly staff. I haven’t tried the sandwiches yet, but they have the best sourdough bread in the area. The Asiago is a standout

The smell alone is magical. The sandwiches were so good and we devoured the flyby. So delicious! If we were local, we’d be regulars.

My daughter and I went, she was all about the sourdough bread. It was good...interesting place and worth the visit.

I want to always love and support small businesses but when I’m treated poorly as a customer it’s not really about the small businesses anymore. I stood in line for 16 minutes ( I timed it) to order a slice of blueberry lemon loaf (previously stated as cake but hence the sassiness in the response I will get specific) and when I asked someone with a bakery hat on to please grab it for me after I ordered, she told me she wasn’t allowed to touch the products in the a condescending and rude tone.

Came here on vacation from Atlanta. This is a local sandwich shop that makes its own sourdough in house. We got the meatball on rosemary garlic and pesto chicken on original sourdough. These were the best sandwiches I've ever had. Give this place a try, you will not be disappointed. Also their customer service was on point which I really appreciate.

I’ve been enjoying this sourdough for years so it’s about time I left a review! You really can’t go wrong with any of their loaves, they are all delicious! The flybys, cinnamon rolls, and sandwich specials are always great too!

Loved this place..and I have celiac for 23 years and can eat the bread. Life change for me.
