This is my second experience at Haiku and it was okay. My boyfriend and I were celebrating our one year anniversary which I did specify in the notes upon booking but the server who also sat us did not mention it once during our experience. A little disappointing off the bat but I had high hopes for the rest of the time here. Upon sitting however the dining room was fairly vacant and the ambiance of the restaurant was beautiful making the evening seem more promising. We ordered the lobster roll and spicy edamame to start and while the edamame had good flavor I was really excited for the lobster roll as it was the star of the show when we went in September. It was good but the outside had a thick crunchy layer that did not match the memory I had of the roll prior. My boyfriend got the waygu vs. waygu which had great presentation and flavor. I got the fried pork belly rice which again was good but seemed like it lacked something taste wise. A couple of other servers brought our food out and although it was starting to pick up pace our server did not check in on us until we were finished which again didn't really matter since everything was good but I could see how this might impact another persons experience. Overall the service was okay and I would recommend this spot for happy hour or possibly a casual evening but if you're looking to celebrate a special occasion I would book elsewhere. If anything I hope they can sort out a better system for celebrating their guests as this seems to be an ongoing trend at the restaurant based not only on other reviews but my personal experiences as well.
My husband and I came to Tampa to enjoy a 3 night getaway from kids and work. I, in advance, booked us a romantic dinner at Haiku which I found on TikTok. Everything was amazing and hopefully when we visit again we will be able to book again in the future.
The server spilled a bottle of beer on the back of one of my guest at the table. My guest was polite enough to not complain and his wife damped the beverage with everyone's cloth napkins. The establishment only compensated one drink on my guest's bill for the beverage spillage all over my guest's back and the server gave my guest a complimentary crab sushi roll, which my guest didn't want because we were already done eating and was full that none of us at the table could eat it. Probably should have the manager comp their bill or portions of the bill for the incident, but only comped one beverage and gave an unwanted sushi roll. Expected a little better customer service for such a high end establishment. Other than the server spilling a bottle of beer on one of my guest. The food was outstanding and very tasty.
After my second visit to Haiku Tampa I can confidently say it's become one of my favorite spots in Downtown Tampa, Florida! This Asian Fusion gem, with its Izakaya-style dishes and contemporary modern feel, has stolen my heart. My first visit was a lunchtime affair, and although the menu was limited, it left me craving more. So, when my 52nd birthday rolled around, I knew exactly where I wanted to celebrate - and I'm so glad I did! The ambiance at Haiku Tampa is nothing short of stunning, with a huge outside patio that's perfect for warm evenings. But, I must confess, I'm a sucker for the indoor dining area - it's just so beautifully designed and cozy! My daughter, granddaughter, and I were treated to an unforgettable meal, with standouts like the Torched Salmon Roll, Citrus Roll, and Seared Truffle Salmon Nigiri that literally melted in our mouths. The Truffle Edamame appetizer was a hit with our entire party of six, and we all agreed that Haiku Tampa is a must-visit.
Delicious shareables. Staff were friendly and attentive and service was excellent. Our food was brought out so quickly. Wonderful dining experience.
My friends and I went here last night to start off my birthday trip and the whole experience was amazing! If we come back to Tampa, we will definitely visit here again!
One of my favorite spots downtown, a fun experience and nice fusion of food. Get the Waygu, you'll be happy.
The service was great! We loved the decor, atmosphere gave good vibes. The food and drinks were amazing, it was just overpriced.
We had dinner at Haiku when we visited my son over the Memorial Day holiday weekend. We enjoyed our plates and cocktails. The service was standard and our server was knowledgeable and helpful when we were choosing our orders. Want to especially call out the pork belly fried rice and blue crab California roll dishes as they were superb! Location was also good as it was near the Marriott where we were staying. If you are visiting the area and have the chance, try this restaurant for an Asian fusion dinner experience that you may likely enjoy.
Bleh, the food is not that great and therefore very overpriced for what you're paying for.

Came here for a friends birthday to checkout their drag brunch this past Sunday. The visit didn't start great... Sat outside which was fine as it was a beautiful day but we didn't even receive water to the table until about 20 minutes sitting there and had to ask for a server. Lots of waiting happened, drinks... apps... etc. Ordered the dumplings (fried), spicy edamame and the breakfast bao. All very good. Eventually the manager came over to us and explained that there was a no show inside if we wanted... naturally we did not hesitate... full redemption! The seats were great, mimosas were flowing and our meal was great. My friend had a blast for her bday celebration and that's what mattered the most.

Food was pretty good. Vibe was almost borderline night club. Waitress struggled a bit. In her defense we were a larger party, but it was kind of rough when multiple wrong dishes came out, wrong checks etc
