There is plenty of parking for the outdoor eatery. There are no sit down tables for the outdoor vendor. I am assuming they have 3 stand up tables. They are very patient to answer questions. The food was super tasty. The fish and chips and the crab cakes are yummy.

Seafood place down by the harbor in Tampa. Grouper was good. I wish the portion had been a little bigger, but not bad. Hush puppies were also good. No place to eat inside here. You have to eat at the outdoor tables.

I was served raw fish, then they tried telling me they temperature check their foods. It wasn’t until he touched the fish to realize yes it’s gummy/raw. They only offered to remake another one, no refund or anything. I’m cool on them.

I was born & raised in central Florida and love seafood! So I tend to be pretty particular. The fried shrimp are delicious, as are the crab cakes and hush puppies! Even the fries & coleslaw are great! Food was fairly priced and service was excellent. And lastly, the Wharf area is a fun, lively area. Definitely exceeded expectations! We highly recommend Half Moon Seafood! Thanks for the delicious lunch!

Worst value at the wharf. Got the lobster roll special. Turned out to be $38 (before tip) for a singular small lobster roll that tasted MEDIOCRE with a fast food ketchup cup filled with coleslaw as a side and a bottle of water. The picture on the window definitely looked like you got two lobster rolls, and when I asked the chef why I didn’t get two rolls she said it was just how the picture looked.

I returned to this spot TODAY because I thoroughly enjoyed my last meal (grouper sandwich). This time I opted for the lobster dog. ? I GOT FOOD POISONING! ‼️‼️‼️
If they had a phone number I would just call them to let them know, but they don’t hence this review/coment. Please be sure the food is not contaminated before serving. It’s also not cheap food on top of getting sick. Quite disappointed.

Best fried seafood in the bay!! Nashville hot sauce is amazing, grouper nuggets, and the hush puppies are so good too. Used to go in temple terrace all the time and now will be driving out here

BEST FRIED GROUPER!!! Absolutely delicious!! The fish is fresh and has the perfect batter, making it crispy but still light and NOT greasy. The seasoning made the fish perfect to eat alone, but the sauces were finger lick worthy. I tried the Cajun sauce and the sweet & tangy sauce. I have had grouper bites from other local restaurants, and HALF MOON IS THE BEST BY A LANDSLIDE.

My main issue with this place is that the food is too good. I want to eat and eat and eat. Another issue is that the prices are too reasonable. Everything is very fairly priced and I feel silly not getting ripped off like most other restaurants down here. Lastly I wish they had merch. I’d rock a Half Moon hat if I could. I’d even pay them to let me wear one.Anyways, I love this spot and the staff is always so kind. Hope this is helpful.

small amounts of food for the money. 8 shrimp on a 16 dollar po boy is laughable. Shoestring fries were stale. Nashville hot sauced shrimp were good, but the crab cakes were pretty mediocre. I've had potato pancakes with more flavor.
