Honestly, I love the catfish here. I come in regularly at least twice a month. I love it so much I have not tried anything else. It's always HOT and FRESH. I even appreciate the drink fountain being accessible because that way, I get a drink and don't have to wait for service. If you want that hometown, feel this is the place.

I gave this spot a third try and the food was not something to write about and they forgot the BBQ says for all of our order and got some of the order wrong. Could of been way better for the price we paid

Just got into town and was hungry for real food. First, most would drive past cause it looks like an old fishing shack, we thought it was a great look. The inside reminded me of the local spot to meet up with old friends. The food was great, catfish fried to perfection, hushpuppies very flavorful, black-eye peas bursting with flavor, collars were tender and great by themselves, and the brisket as tender, smokey, and great pull. We will be back before we leave town and this time we are leaving room for dessert.
