Wanted to love it, service to order and when picking up was great but the food was not authentic at all. The white rice sides were literally clumped/mushy and poorly cooked. The only thing that was decent was the pollo à la brasa and yuca frita. The lomo saltado was alright but for sure not authentic. The arroz chaufa lacked flavor and the rice was also mushy. The sauces were watery. The papa à la huacaina was horrendous. Reviews are definitely misleading or it was a really bad day. It was also extremely over priced. Would not recommend.

Delicious food. We had the fried snapper, empanadas, rellenos de carne, and fish nuggets. And the chocolate torta for desert. Service was very attentive. Clean and nice atmosphere. Definitely will return.

It was my second time in this restaurant, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. The portions were huge. The food and drinks tasted so authentic. I felt like I was in Peru. I came with my friend who is Peruvian and he said that everything tasted perfect.. I will be back again.

Today for the first time my mom and I, we saw it in the Tampa Magazine, my order was a pitcher of chicha morada, they put way too much much of quince and it did taste good it taste almost fermented, my. Mom asked for the cebiche carretillero it was very goo and a nice portion, my mom couldn’t finish, I ordered Olluquito, another disappointment, it almost tasted like yhe seasoning for anticucho or adobo it had way to much ahi panca it overpower the olluco and I tasted vinegar I never had olluco with vinegar, I wanted to taste the olluco it was wayyyy to much, the service was superb

Hands down our favorite spot in Tampa! After trying many others, we still always return here to feed the whole family a delicious meal. The drinks and desserts are fabulous too. Thank you Happy Fish!

Service was a joke, empty place and still had to wait for the waitress to come, food took long time and was mid at best, meat way over cooked and dry, quality low
Not once the waitress check on my table, again, place empty
Would not recommend to anyone
Very good not greasy food. Also the front counter attendant speaks very clear English and she is very sympathetic and attentive.

The food is excellent. We ordered the anticuchos, lomo saltado and churrasco. The meat was so tender and the chef cooked the steak right (med rare). The chimichurri sauce was fresh and tasted delicious. This was possible the best chimichurri I've ever tasted. I had leftovers lomo saltado and even after I reheated it, the meat was still tender. Highly recommend coming.

Amazing Peruvian food. The ceviche is to die for, and I typically order that every time. There is also delicious anticuchos, yucca balls, and pisco sours. Our waitress, Fabiola, was very attentive and provided fantastic service. I go to Happy Fish every time I'm up in that area!
