IF U A RASTA OR VEGAN DONT WAIST YOUR TIME‼️ and I love this place. That’s why I gave them 3 stars and people are great. But they don’t have a lot of vegan options and I understand that not all Jamaican are Rastas but they should have at least have more options then Just cabbage and rice peas. Like how hard is it to have some plantains or some ackee and etc available. Vegetables are not that hard to cook‼️ It just don’t make no sense to me‼️

I loved this restaurant up until today. They changed chef's the food was horrible. I ordered the curried goat it was tender but very bland no curry flavor at all. The cabbage was overcooked and the rice and peas was blah for lack of a better word. They were out of plantains which is included but they didn’t offer any replacement. They had a customer for life after today I'll never spend another coin there. Good luck!

Really great food cooked fresh. Served hot. They also have lunch specials for $6. Not to mention you can get a big plate for $12/13. Most authentic and cleanest place you can eat from in Tampa. My family and I are born and raised Trinis. I loved in Jamaica sometime after Mona. So I am super picky. Hines is great.

I went there and ordered the curry goat and white rice, I was very scaptic at first but when I ate the food# bum bum clat# it was fire so the next day I went back ordered the oxtail and rice and peas same thing# 2 shots in the air #figure of speech!!! it was very good !!!! mi say chef that food taste a me cook it Nuff respect to the chef
