Website brought me all the way down to amalie arena saying holy hog was open.. I pay to park. I set off on foot only to find out that holy hog downtown is now only inside of amalie arena and only open when theres a show or a game.. Update your website people. Youve lost a good customer over this one. Ill find burnt ends elsewhere.

My father just brought us lunch from there and it was $50! The rib lunch they got consistented of 3 bones. Of course every bbq place uses those small side dish containers. It's like 2 bites and gone. Mac n cheese was flavorless. I will say no complaints about my beef brisket sandwich. It was pretty good. All in all just think they are over priced.

I had the brisket sandwich and there was loads of meat but it was not as nice as the ones I had before. Still as I was hungry,it filled a space. The meat had been cooked earlier and kept in foil. It may have been days old.

Went to the Lightning game on Saturday 2/15/20 and bought 2 Slider Hat Trick meals from Holy Hog (one pork and the other brisket)........$16.75 per meal. And they were horrible. Chunks of fatty meat...like not kidding, the ENTIRE chunk was pure grizzle and fat....nasty. Not editable. I returned the sandwiches to the counter and the lady just laughed...I wasted $33.50. You can find much better food elsewhere at the Lightning game!!!

I just ordered.from Holy Hog using a delivery service, overall I found the meal a mixed bag Brisket= took one bite, no smoke flavor Pulled Pork= didnt taste, as I dont like PP in general Chicken= 1 bite, no unique flavor Ribs= 1 bite, pedestrian taste and flavor Fries= acceptable Smoked. Sausage= juicy.and good flavor Jalapeno Mac and cheese= I liked it Chocolate chip cookie= quite good

But worth mentioning...when we walked in there's 4 guys behind the counter but we waited to be helped and although there was no one else there, I had to say "hey guys, can we order or what?" They didn't have attitudes or anything horrible but just seemed disinterested. The food was ok nothing memorable. Wasn't served very warm. We also had the pile on the bbq sauces because it was dry. Mac N cheese...I elected to get the spicy side of mac n cheese and it had a good taste (not hot) but again, not warm. Overall, one day I'll try it again. Outdoor seating was comfortable due to nice weather.
When I entered the place at 6pm on a Friday. Everything looked and smelled good. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The menu is a bit limited, but decent variety. I ordered the brisket plate with jalapeño mac and cheese and collard greens. Mac and cheese was good, greens tasted like they just dumped them from the can and heated them right before I walked in and brisket was extremely dry. I could only eat half. When the guy came to take my plate away he asked if I was all done and I explained yes because that was the driest brisket I’d ever had and he did offer to replace it, but I declined. Probably would not go back.

The food here never disappoints!If you’re not too hungry you can always get a a platter of chips and a drink.The seasoning on the chips is perfect and then you can go and add a little bbq sauce for dipping too!

We had a nice 5 min walk to this restaurant from the Sheraton. Food was great. We had pulled pork, burnt ends, collards, and green beans... yum!
