No food, otherwise this place would have 20 stars! Our bartender, Mikey, was knowledgeable, friendly an efficient. I will definitely come back based on this experience! We had the news knees, an espresso martini, and a glass of wine... All fairly simple but excited to perfection. Thank you!

Incredible staff! Some of the friendliest people in Tampa. Drinks are always solid and the management has gone above and beyond on many occasions to make us feel special when we come in. Whether you’re looking for a night cap after a fancy date, or just walking through downtown after a lightning game, Hotel Bar is always the perfect stop.

I came here with a friend last night and neither of us ever got our cards back after paying. When we came back the next day, October 11, 2025, around 4 PM, the manager on duty refused to give them to us and said we had to email someone to maybe get them back later. Meanwhile, our cards were clearly visible in a huge stack behind the counter.
The manager was incredibly rude and dismissive. No apology, no effort to help, just giving us attitude. This was clearly their mistake, yet they treated us like it was our problem. We are from out of town, so now we have to cancel our cards and deal with that unnecessary headache.
If this is how management handles something as simple as returning a customer’s card, it says a lot about how they run the rest of the place. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere that actually respects customers.
This place will finesse you for your card, they give you the bill with out the card back, then kick you out as they are shutting down. Avoid at all cost very unprofessional

Jason and Tj are hands down the best. We found this great spot a couple of months ago and it’s our new go to spot for drinks before and after dinner. We walk In they know us by name and know exactly what we’re drinking and make it perfect every time. If you haven’t been here…. Well you need to give it a try. I promise you won’t be Disappointed.
