Run don’t walk!! Love this venue. Excellent food, ambience, and water views!!! Emily, the manager is a fellow NYer and a whole vibe!! Great sense of humor, very welcoming and accommodating. Say Hi when you get there!! Our waitress Alie was a doll. Very courteous accommodating got our orders perfect first time. She was phenomenal!! Will and do highly recommend.

We were not greeted at the door.. The only reason the person who was supposed to be there finally turned around from the bar was because the phone rang and she answered it without saying a word to us. She proceeded to have a conversation on the phone after we had been standing there and I mumbled something under my breath about, let's just go find Someone else to seat us. She followed after us yelling, literally yelling through the restaurant at us. It was horrifying. She had on a dirty T-shirt and looked very disheveled. You should have someone better greeting your guests. We're locals, and we love this place. Food is great...service is slow, but so nice... Just an suggestion, if you're going to serve octopus, please learn how to cook it.

Beautiful spot with a great vibe, but our experience at the bar was disappointing. The bartender with the man bun was inattentive, unhelpful, and carried an attitude the whole time. When we mentioned we were just ordering drinks while waiting for our table, he seemed even less interested in serving us, which made the interaction unpleasant. We ordered the pineapple caipirinha, which was good, and thankfully Jason was awesome , super friendly and checked on us even though we weren’t his guests. The place itself is very nice. Bartending is one of those jobs where attitude makes all the difference, and unfortunately, one person turned what could have been a great stop into the opposite. That said, I’d like to return and give it another try.

I typically love coming here as I am local to the area and have come often the food is great but when you go at 915 at night and get told to walk upstairs 9 months pregnant just to be told “uhm we are closing early tonight cause it’s slow” by the host with a full restaurant of people it definitely feels like an insult and a slap in the face. I could see if it were the last 15 mins but 45 mins before closing and the restaurant wasn’t slow by any means , feels like the servers & host can’t keep up with their job. Disgusting.

I've been here 3 times now. First time was ok. The last two, have been extremely disappointing. Sat at the bar and the bartender looked so annoyed I was there. He was busy but nothing crazy. He was borderline rude almost the entire time except when delivering the check (shocker). My burger was cooked so well done it wasn't even funny. There were actually burnt pieces on the edges of it. The time before this, I had a super rude server who also acted like he was annoyed I was there. No one here comes across as friendly. It's really disappointing. The views are beautiful. That's really all this place has going for it right now.
