Second & last visit. Parking lot was practically empty.Walked in around 1pm on a Saturday the place wasn’t busy at all. Simply asked for a table for one the man at the front told me it was a 5-10 min wait because a bunch of people walked in before me. I said okay he gave me a paper menu & I sat down in the front then waited 5 min & left & went to Mr & Mrs crab & was seated immediately upon entry. Don’t waste your time at this establishment.

Door dash customer who got an over $50 order that was horrible. Door dash wouldn’t refund order for no good reason. No reason was given except that I was a new customer🤣The fried foods were old grease saturated. Don’t eat the calamari , it’s rubber and nasty. The Cajun fries had no seasoning and were soggy. The shrimp had batter falling off it and were over-saturated with grease. The scallops tasted like old grease and the batter fell off. Grease, Grease and more Grease. The Hungry Crab doesn’t stand behind their food. The manager just kept telling me to call door dash for any refund. After my spouse and I got sick they still didn’t offer a refund at door dash. We didn’t eat even 25% of the meals. We sent pictures and kept getting turned down for a refund. Getting sick off what little we ate did nothing. I will report this restaurant to the health department. One customer found mold in the food😝Get rid of door dash and stop going to this restaurant. A restaurant that could deliver food like they did,dripping in grease is on the way to closing their doors😔 Hungry crab needs to close . A $50 lesson in bad food 😡

I saw a review from one consumer that lauded the fact that they were sat in less than 5 min on a late Saturday evening with no reservations. It just so happened to be a late Saturday night and I decided to give it a try and I had the exact same experience!
The food was out in less than 5 minutes and seasoned to perfection, piping hot! I got a crab boil bag and enjoyed every bite!

Listen I use to go to this place all the time. We were bragging about this place to some friends of ours out of state that were visiting us. We decided to take them there last night Saturday July 5th. From the moment we walked in I knew something was different. The first thing I saw was the manager sitting up at the front desk playing on his phone. Never looked up to greet us. Then the service. Oh man it was horrible from the first introduction till the last signing of the check. The server kept calling me chief, he couldn't get the drinks right mind you there were only 4 of us. Kept forgetting a guest of mine was having lemonade instead of water but I digress. Let's get to the food. It's was like night & day from the way it used to be. First I ordered 3 pounds of crab in mild with hungry seasoning. My crab for $35 a pound was the tiniest crab ive ever eaten and more than a quarter of them were hollow. The seasoning was all over the place. Half of my tray was mild the mother medium or hot. The seasoning was lost in a batch of bland soup. My wife ask for more dry seasoning for her very bland combo and they just kept bringing her more soup Which they had the audacity to charge for at the end of the meal. Our guest ordered blue crab. The order was taken then the server came back to tell her they didn't have any. (A server should know whats 86ed off of the menu before his or hers shift.) I had had enough went to the front where the manager was still scrolling on his phone. I let him know of the issues especially my wife's meal. What did he do he brought her more soup. Server at this point hadn't been back in a while but brought my guest another water when he did return. The manager brought me out one little cluster of crab to make up for everything. Needless to say my wife and her friend from out of state left the table and spent the remaining time out in the car and didn't even want her dinner to go. As I left I approached the manager one more time and let him know about everything. I told him he lost a valuable guest and I wouldn't be back. All that place had going on before is lost and my bill is usually around $300+ It back to Mr. & Misses crab for me and my family.

First time experience. We sat in less than 5 min on a late Saturday evening (no reservations). The appetizer crab cakes was the bomb! I suggest you order 2. The food came out very fast. The waiter was very kind and helpful AJ! The house sauce was 🔥 they were very generous on the one pound of shrimp. The snow crab, potato’s, sausage and corn was amazing my hubby enjoyed his fried cat fish. we definitely will be back.
