An excellent, modest establishment with a variety of Japanese food and drinks. I'm particularly fond of the katsu curry.

I encountered efficient service and authentic Japanese cuisine at this restaurant run by a Japanese family. The omusubi with plum and seaweed salad was delightful—I truly savored it. Although the lady who took my order initially seemed rude, it may be due to her hearing problems. However, her husband kindly assisted me with my order. I'm already looking forward to returning to try either the kitsune udon or karaage curry.

I recently dined at I AI Sushi and was thoroughly impressed with the exceptional food. The authenticity of the Japanese cuisine transported me to Japan, and the owners' Japanese background added a genuine touch to the experience. From the katsu curry to the delectable sushi, it's a culinary gem for those seeking an authentic Japanese dining experience.

This place has the best authentic Japanese food. Tonight, I had the Eel and Gyudon bowl and the Takoyaki. My partner had the Spicy Cod Omusubi and Chirashi. We've been coming here for over 3 years now, and the quality has not wavered.

We got the chicken katsu don and it reminded us of an amazing and cozy home cooked meal. It was fresh and full of flavor. Absolutely in love with the food from this restaurant ?

Authentic Japanese food with real Japanese owners. Excellent food but so-so service and the restaurant is a bit dated. I had sukiyaki and it was fantastic. The tempura udon is also very good. Interesting note is that you need to buy a bottle of water, no free tap water. This place is kinda low budget and will not appeal to everyone but if you like real Japanese comfort food, come here. Don’t come if you’re expecting white tablecloths and attentive waiters…not here. Just a simple place with good food and some areas to improve. We are Japanese, new to Tampa and we love this place. Our new go-to spot.

Pretty much the only place in town to get quality and truly Japanese comfort food dishes, like Katsu Curry or Beef Bowls. I usually just grab takeout, and it's super quick. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Honestly if you're looking for a good Japanese spot that has it all... This is it.

Authentic Japanese cuisine! I lived in Japan and it was a joy to get to try real Japanese dishes at this restaurant. Can't wait to go back!

The spicy chicken soup was delicious! It's not a big place, but the food and the service are worth it!

Long time ago I came here kind of I was like a later night thing, got some bad vibes. Didn't care for the food but I figured okay. Maybe they had a bad day, when I moved pretty close to here I found that nope it's par for the course unfortunately, I liked their onigiri, but I didn't really care for anything

My boyfriend and I decided to give this place a try on Monday night and everything was super good. The rainbow roll was my favorite, super flavorful!

They stopped serving OKINOMIYAKI years ago and get mad if you ask about it. Everything else is top notch! The food here is authentic and incredibly delicious, but I do wish service was better... I rather give tip to the cooking staff most times.I come from St.Pete and use to make the trek almost every week if that shows my craving for their food. Price is worth it.
