Iavarone's Steakhouse & Italian Grill

First let me start by praising the service. The wait staff was great! Appetizers were great. Burrata and the sausage appetizer were both amazing. My main course was surf and turf and while the lobster was good, I was not impressed with the filet. My date had the blackened NY Strip and that was good. All in all, food was good but Ivarone's is not inexpensive. I like it and a local favorite.

The food was delicious, steak was served as ordered (right temperature), lean and with the right texture. Our server was very attentive and friendly. The advertising of this restaurant in social media platforms reflects having a rooftop cigar and martini bar and one the reasons we chose this establishment for this particular evening celebration. Unfortunately, we found out that the rooftop bar is only now for private events and no longer a cigar/martini bar. When we spoke to the hostess, he outlined it had been a few years since that happened. Obviously, we were very disappointed with the news. I would recommend their marketing department to make those adjustments in social media platforms.

We celebrated my mom‘s 83rd birthday here last night. The food was delicious and the service was great. Our server was friendly and attentive to our needs. Highly recommend.

We have come here for dinner many, many times. The food is generally consistent, the service of late, not so much. We were sat and our server showed up abut 10 mins later. No greeting, just “you are aware we have a corking fee for your bottle of wine” 🫤 She came back with two wine glasses, a bottle of water we ordered and a beer to share. I asked if we were to put our bottle of water in the wine glasses but we're told that was for our wine. So no water glasses. I guess we were to drink out of the bottle like hillbillies. She then tells us this isn't her table. So Rick came to wait on us. After further online reviews, Rick doesn't seem to have the best reputation. Rick came to the table I mentioned my wine/water glass was dirty. He brought back a water glass and poured my water from the dirty glass to a new glass. I guess doing that makes my existing water clean. 🤨 That was enough for us and we got up and left. On the way out, the hostess asked us what happened and we told her. She said she will tell her manager. We stepped outside and the valet brought our car. I thought maybe the manager would come talk to us, but I was wrong. We left and went to Nabruizzi Italian and had a wonderful meal with great service.

We had the Sunday Supper, and the selection was excellent and portions were very generous. Great cocktails too!

We have dined here in the past. This visit was in the private upstairs room for a rehearsal dinner. The food and service was excellent as usual.

The noise level was awful. We could barely talk across our “booth”. Placed too close to the bar. The food was wonderful as was our waiter.

My husband and I came here for the first time and were incredibly disappointed as we've been looking forward to dining here for awhile due to seeing the great reviews. First, I want to say we had WONDERFUL service. Everyone was kind and attentive! Drinks were refilled with asking, food was brought out without long wait times, and we were continually checked on. However, food and ambiance were not what we expected at such a highly rated restaurant. My husbands medium steak was rare (closer to purple). I ordered a pasta dish that had linguine, blue crab claw and a spicy marinara sauce. It was basically a jar of salsa (yes, salsa) warmed up, dumped on top of linguine with crab meat mixed in. When you walk in it's cold with wood booths or wood tables and chairs (picture an old TGIFridays or Applebees). Again, service and people were wonderful, I really want more for the employees alone because it could have so much potential. Unfortunately food and ambiance were not. If you're looking for good Italian food or steakhouse (as advertised) make reservations elsewhere 😞

Wasn't as good as in the past. Caesar salad was only fair - seemed old and somewhat wilted. Steak was tender but didn't have the Italian flavor as in the past. Salmon was good; glaze excellent.

Came here on my own to treat myself, and I waited about 30 mins before I even got my water and the busser got it for me instead of my server. My server Rick comes maybe 5 mins later with my water noticed my other cup and said my other drink was coming soon and told me that two more times before I received it. There was about 4 other tables who were all finishing up near me so by the time I had my app and salad I was the only one in that section waiting. The ambience does *not* match the price and they were playing retail radio in there. I was the only person dressed nice too. Food was still good but then a couple got seated near me and they were given their drinks and everything much quicker than my stuff came out. And I came around 8pm and it was not overly busy either, I will not be coming back here again was not worth the drive.

The eggplant parm was just ok. Very thin eggplant . The sautéed spinach was very good . My dinner partner really liked the Crab enchilau.

Awesome steaks, well everything on the menu is outstanding.
Family owned business with great service.
Once you eat here, it will be a regular night out pleasure❤️

Prime rib and blue burger was delicious. Escargot had alot of butter. Drinks were excellent and our server Rick was too notch
