I ate at this Illy twice in August and both times had delicious sandwiches (grilled cheese with bacon and in turkey with provolone panini) which were quickly and perfectly made. :) Iced tea for only $2.79! Delicious cookies finished my meals - Thanks!!

Average coffee, bitter/ burnt flavor in contrast to sbux, and worst, they literally give less than half of a cup of coffee size purchased. For $6.5 a large cappuccino ends up with ~40% coffee. Yes foam is always good, but foam shouldn’t fill more than 60% of the cup. The crew was chit chatting after making the coffee, while I waited, instead of handing it over.. at an airport, many are looking for faster and attentive service. To top it all, the condiments/ sugar bar is on the other side of the store after pickup, and lacking offerings.

Went to get a coffee and a muffin for my trip, I asked if they had chocolate chip muffins- her reply “there’s a sign in front of them” there was no sign for the muffins … I said I no longer wanted a muffins based off how rude she was to me. She then proceeds to talk to her co-worker on how stupid I was. Terrible service.

Terrible service and incredibly disappointing experience!
I had one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever encountered at this coffee shop in the Tampa airport. The staff wasn’t just rude — they were outright disrespectful and unprofessional. Their attitude made it feel like they were being paid *not* to serve customers, but to make them feel unwelcome.
Rather than creating a warm, helpful environment (which is especially important in an airport where people are already stressed or in a rush), they were dismissive, short-tempered, and seemed annoyed by the very presence of customers.
It’s unacceptable to treat paying guests this way — especially in a service-based business. Management seriously needs to address the customer service culture here!!!

Illy at the airport serves the best espresso—rich, bold, and perfectly balanced. Fast service, smooth crema, and a great pick-me-up before your flight. A must-stop for coffee lovers.

I had a killer cappuccino and breakfast sandwich. Nilynne was exceptionally calm and professional. Having been in retail for 30 years, I was impressed that she also offered bottled water at the end of my order; great upsell. Watching others in line complain about having to wait because Nilynne was working alone was disheartening. In today’s world where social media and complaining go hand-in-hand, nobody in line had the intelligence to point out how quickly and professionally Nilynne serviced the line, which was at its worst, 10 customers long. Excellent job Nilynne.

6/10/25; 7;15 am African American and Mexican servers very rude, unfriendly, bossy, loud and mean. I was so upset I left my ice coffee which was good. Not nice people. I had to ask them to take my sandwich out of toaster. Glad I did or it would have been burned.

Charged extra 50 cents plus tax for cream cheese (which should be included free for a $4.09 plain bagel). Double checked as they were handing me the bag “you guys put a knife and cream cheese in the bag?”. They replied “it’s in the bag”. Got on the plane and now morning sickness mamma doesn’t have her cream cheese for her bagel. Doesn’t want to eat it and throwing up. Thanks for the lousy rip off service.
