Don't expect much out of the egg and cheese breakfast sandwich

I have had several pleasant dining experiences at this location in the past; something seems to have recently changed. Both of the toasted bagels I ordered today appear to have been at least day-old; They were very hard/crunchy and difficult to bite into. The hostess at the checkout was not very friendly and snapped at me as I tried to tell her I wanted my receipt at checkout.

I ordered a single sandwich while no one else was in the cafe and ended up waiting for 20 plus minutes while the ONLY employee took several other orders and completed them before even starting mine. I assumed they were simply understaffed and she was frazzled from the rush until another employee FINALLY came out of nowhere to help. While I was standing at the counter she ended coming to me 3 separate times to ask what I was waiting for, and on the final time she stated that she called me but I wasn’t there, ignoring the fact I had been standing there the entire time. She insisted on remaking it instead of giving me the one she had already made and had been hiding behind the counter from me the entire time. On top of it all she was consistently playing with her hair and face while handling the food and had a consistent attitude. So thank you Natalie L. for your lack of customer service ability.

I rarely am able to give 5 star reviews as there is always something that can be improved upon but this place has never disappoint. The service is always with a smile no matter how busy. Their Americano is perfect. I look forward to placing my orders here. Thank you Jeffery.

You see how the line is 1/15th the size of the line at the Starbucks on the other side of the terminal? There's a reason. This is the worst airport cafe I've had in my life, yet it's more expensive than the places right next to it. Rude workers, my drink tasted like cheap sugar water, and the breakfast sandwich was burnt to a crisp. Absolutely awful all around, which is funny since most of the Tampa airport food joints are pretty good. Just avoid this place and wait at the Starbucks or get something from the convenient shop.

Passing through Tampa airport and needed some caffeine and a danish… realizing of course that this Is just an airport cafe and so my expectations are different. We got a guava danish and it was warm and tasty. I got an americano and it was just fine. I prefer espresso based drinks and don’t like Starbucks so was happy to have this option.

They have better coffee blends than 5-bucks. Service was quick and friendly, with no ridiculously long line of people getting fattening sugary drinks with "extra whip" and little actual coffee content.
