Stopped in tonight for some sandwiches because my go to spot was closed and honestly wanted to love it but 1. They didn’t toast/press them like I asked and 2. They were so bland.
We ordered a ham and cheese with everything + turkey and cheese with everything …. and I didn’t even eat it all it was so bad. My husband felt the same way. The coleslaw was okay but out of $60+ worth of items, that was it. We definitely won’t be back.
Owners son works hard and treats everyone as if they are friends. Excellent cafe con leche. Stalwart part of community, been there 45+ years, small town feel in a city environment. Love that they’re open early. Stop in and try a yummy breakfast sandwhich!
