When I went in, it was so empty, but I still placed an order for l what I thought was a large curry chicken but to my surprise it wasn’t! I paid 12$ (11.80) for this small portion of food I feel like it should be 8$ but they said they only serve one size for the food(odd) my cabbage tasted like the ocean which is crazy my meat had two big bones in it which I find crazy the portion is already small so there’s that but the overall taste of my rice and peas (they don’t serve plain white rice) and curry was good 6/10 minus 4 because again for some odd reason my cabbage tasted like seaweed str8 out the ocean ? the older lady was very sweet though unfortunately I won’t be back thanks!

Without a word of "bless you." The lady at the counter started mumbling and put her used old mask was in the counter and look at me like a sick person. I wanted to order a lunch plate but since I had this unwelcoming service, I just bought a patty.I don't think I would like to comeback again.Or recommend anyone just because of this rude service.---- I will also, leave my first comment.for any reference.Very tasty chicken curry empanada!Haven't tried other menus except for plantains and beef empanada.Please give it a try!The price was reasonable too!

I was craving some JA food after having visiting JA & having real Jamaican food, I was a little skeptical but decided to give it a try. The lady at the front counter greeting me with her warm presence & thick accent-I loved it! Brought back memories from being there. I decided to eat the food later on & I was happy to get that sweet authentic JA taste! I have never ate rice & beans in my life but now I understand what the fuss was all about! Everything was great, from the sweet plaintains-cabbage & chicken! If you are ever in the Brandon/Tampa area…visiting this place is a must!

This was the WORSE food I've ever had. There was no seasoning. Extremely bland! I've lived in Caribbean communities and delight in their cuisine...but this was not good! Clean atmosphere. Cashier could have been more personable and over priced for the quality and quantity. B's Island kitchen runs rings around this place. B's is AUTHENTIC unlike this. I was very disappointed and my family was also ?.
