I’ve been going here for years. I love the food and the service! I love pappy & his crew!! My favorite dishes are: Jerk Wings, Griyo and the pappy special! Some of my favorite sides are: white rice, stewed cabbage, garlic potatoes or green beans. Great place for carribean food!!!

Sad to say whom ever you had answering your phone on 3/16/24 around 7pm has put a bad taste in my mouth, before even getting to taste the food.My husband and I was planning to travel from Sarasota to come and try the food but, we had a few questions before making the 45min - 1hr drive. I called and the person answered "Island crew please hold" then put me on hold before I could even get hello out. But I waited on hold as I understand the person maybe servicing someone at this moment or in the middle of a task. I waited on hold for about 4min, and it sound like someone was picking up and the phone hung up.So, I called back, because I have had it happen to me before trying to answer on hold and pushed the wrong button and it hangs up. I got no answer on the call back.So now, again me being understanding I gave it a minute and called a 3rd time. Person answers " Island crew please hold" and again puts me on hold before I can get a word out. But I hold again this time for 10min before I just hung up.After that we decided we would go somewhere else.Which really sucks because everything looks really good and we were looking forward to supporting.

THIS IS NOT IT!!!Anyone giving this so called Caribbean Establishment anything but 1 star has either never had good caribbean food, or is was paid to leave a positive review. I really wanted to like this place since I am from the islands but I have to say this wasn't it. Why the restaurant have to be so run down and broken. Rocking tables to the old musty smell. Ordered some jerk chicken, beans and plantains and it was all disgustin, Wet and soggy the only redeeming thing is that it was hot. Took one bite and had to toss the entire meal in the trash. I am bashing in hopes that they do better and actually improve on this place. I wish i took pictures but i was too upset that I paid money for a meal I wouldn't give to anyone. DO BETTER!Also cashier was not bad at all she was supper friendly.

Use to go here all the time & never have I ever was told you must spend more than $5 for a card purchase. Tuesdays are $1 empanada days... I ordered a crab empanada and beef stuffed potato and a separate order for my little pregnant sister & was charged and given a deviled crab over cooked. I am not interested in going back ?

As always, I love Island Crew! I have been quite a number of times with family and friends since my son brought me first. The food and customer service never disappoints. Food delicious but I ordered CRISPY fried chicken and they ran out of batter and instead of telling me before handing me my order they made it regular and then handed it to me.
If I can give a negative review I would! This place needs to be shut down immediately! I ordered for my lunch had to blow the phone up more than 2 times just for an answer, the young lady got my order all wrong! Once i got there the service was terrible no one greeted me and the young lady was standing at the front with her air pods in, after standing there for about 2 mins I asked can she assist me, once I got my food I was in immediate distress my beans was burnt I smelled them before I even opened the container, the meatball sub was soggy and blended, I called and asked for a refund after the chef stated his self the beans was burnt smh then the lady told me no refunds I never seen a refund sign or anything I’m just highly pissed and to make matters worst I’m 4 months pregnant and couldn’t even eat the food!! The potato ball was good.

Highly disappointed. Food was disgusting. As soon as I opened the container I instantly smelled the burnt black beans and it lit up the office I work at. Called back to as for refund only to be told that they knew the beans was burnt but want give me a refunds. The cabbage was spoil and smelled very bad . Island crew has definitely went down and needs to be shut down
