This has become a favorite stop during my work trips to Tampa. My first visit, I had just come from Japan and this was better than any izakaya I visited there! The wait is long- I’ve waited an hour each time going solo and waiting for a bar seat. But you can order a drink while waiting. They have a nice sake selection and make the choice easy by graphing them all out by sweetness and body. The food comes out super fast! Next time I’ll probably order slower just to not have...

Great place to get some very authentic Japanese food.
The place had a bit of a funky smell when I came in but the quality of the food and the atentiveness of the service made it 5 stars

I’ve been here dozens of times, and it never fails. Authentic, incredibly tasty Japanese food. The restaurant is usually busy, but the wait isn’t long enough to feel frustrating, and it’s absolutely worth it for the quality you get.
