Overall, this restaurant has a great atmosphere, friendly service and the prices are very reasonable for what you get. Parking is easy and free. I would like to point out a few things that made this experience a little less enticing. My old fashioned was in a very heavy, medium-sized glass, which made the pour look very small. It just felt odd to drink from this glass as an avid consumer of this style of drink. Also, the large ice cube actually melted entirety before I could finish it which I have never had happen before. I literally walked from the bar to my table and before my steak arrived the cube was gone, which watered down my cocktail. I'm not sure if they use half size cubes, but there was plenty of room in that glass for a full sized cube to make that drink better. The drink tasted fine, but using a shorter, lighter glass with a large cube would make it more consistent with the swanky style of that cocktail.Another thing that was odd, was we ordered the lobster topped steak special for the night at $48. It came out with a full plate of french fries, like a meal from a diner. It may just be my opinion, but if we are going to order a meal that is $50, some elevated sides to accompany lobster may be more appropriate than fries. They were cold, and the steak needed more seasoning, so that didn't help either. I did have the filet mignon prepared medium rare and it was perfect. Again, it could have also had more flavor to the meat, but for $46 it was great with a loaded baked potato and Béarnaise sauce. The best part was the lemon cheesecake with raspberry sauce. It was refreshing and delicious. I definitely recommend that with an espresso martini. It was a little on the creamy side, but made well to accompany a dessert.Overall, this restaurant is perfect to celebrate a special occasion or grab a bottle of wine from their huge selection. It just doesn't compare steak wise to other more elevated restaurants in the area. The menu selections were very diverse with many different options, that they didn't really specialize in one thing.

I went here with high expectations, and was disappointed with the outcome. The four of us first stopped at the bar for a drink before dinner. The bar area is nice and service was great. I had a pomegranate martini and it came with what they called a "sidecar", which means you get more martini on the side. It was very good. Once seated, our server was super friendly to start, but as time went on, that went away and she made us feel like we were putting her out. The menu is nice, with lots of good choices. I hadn't had prime rib in years, so I settled on the 12 oz portion with a loaded baked potato. While we were waiting, they brought bread and butter. I believe it was sourdough bread and it was delicious! When we asked for more, our server got attitude. What? For bread? I enjoyed a glass of Pinot Noir, which was a decent pour. My picture of my prime rib turned out blurry, so I couldn't post it. The slice was super thick, and prepared medium as I like it, with a side cup of au jus. This was probably the most dense, dry, prime rib I have ever eaten. Even after dipping in the au jus, it was dry. It was supposed to come with horseradish, so I tracked down the server, who again was put out I asked for something else. It didn't arrive until I was half done with my prime rib, and it was horseradish sauce, not raw horseradish so that was a big disappointment. The baked potato was very good. Overall, with my prime rib being what it was, I wasn't highly impressed here.

The food here is always fresh tasting. Varied menu, great salads and tasty and tender beef. The chix pasta soup tastes like Mom's chix pot pie. I would never order chix strips in a restaurant but the person next to me convinced me and they are crazy-good. Atmosphere is always upbeat.I'm back again (every few months). Terrific French dip sandwich. Service is always awesome but Johnny at the bar is the awsomest!

I love jays best burger in the city but yesterday I went with the 50 dollar filet, ordered it medium well because I took my mom. Literally 2 little burnt sliver dollar sized steaks come out and it was like eating hockey pucks lol… what made me most upset !!!! was the manager comes over and lingers forever telling me they cut a fillet in half to cook it med well!!!!! That’s crazy you don’t know how to cook a steak med well without cutting in half but the truth was they used two little ends of fillet ( they were perfect circles why lie about cutting in half then linger ) horrible management!!!! Luckily the server was cool he saved the day. Hopefully you guys can learn how to cook a steak without cutting it in half lol ?

LOVE Steak Frits! And they make an excellent Steak Fritz here under $40 a great value. The bar is lovely, the service is excellent & we love the beautiful open kitchen & lively atmosphere. The only issue I have is they don't offer a peppercorn sauce "Au Poivre Sauce" here for the yummy steak Fritz. Bummers. Please add an Au Poivre Sauce to the menu. Added to my favorite steak places. Will return to update.

The entrees were well-executed, but the chocolate cake was a big disappointment. It was dark and moist, but had no chocolate flavor. Also the chocolate sauce was overly sweet.

The Lemon Drop Martini is amazing, I love that they give you the martini glass and the extra poured from the shaker. The rotisserie chicken is the most flavorful I believe Ive ever had and the portion size is definitely shareable. It’s 1/2 a chicken, with double mashed potatoes. I ordered a side of broccoli that was steamed just right as well.Definitely 10 out of 10!!

The best restaurant in Tampa!!! My boyfriend and I have been trying to find a good place to eat at and this has so far been the absolute best. The mac and cheese is INSANE literally the best i’ve ever had. He only eats chicken tenders and fries and he’s VERY picky and he said these were the best chicken tenders and fries he’s had the entire time we’ve been in Tampa. Our waitress was so sweet and our food came out so fast.
