Kind staff, lovely food. Took 5-10 minutes for food to be ready, good enough time to talk in between waiting. Massaman Curry was sweet and creamy, and the sweet and sour had a delicate spice. Took some to go, all around nice experience. Dim lighting and soft music, good for those with issues of being overly stimulated by environments. 🙌🏻✨
It could be just a bad night. Food was just ok. The spring rolls were very good and stood out. The service was good but not outstanding. You don't get the vibe that they are glad to serve you. Certainly the etiquette was missing as well any attempt to making dinner more special than a local casual Chinese restaurant. Not as I remember my last experience there. Too nonchalant for a place that could be so much more.
We lived in Carrollwood/Citrus Park for about 11 years and Jasmine Thai was our go-to restaurant for Thai. We've mostly had take-out and delivery, which was always well-prepared and tasty, but the restaurant is also an excellent choice for dining in. Pleasant atmosphere and good service. I've always appreciated the option to order extra steamed/sauteed vegetables to mix in to my meal for added balance.
