I’ve gone to Jason’s Deli in Tampa now twice. I’ve been to the Jacksonville location multiple times. Today’s visit in Tampa was not impressive. The cashier was nice, the cook was nice. It was 7 pm on a Saturday and they had the salad bar taken apart cleaning it, dirty tables, which someone was cleaning them, and a dirty floor, it’s still dirty. The girl doing the salad bar, how do I put this nicely, she was very unimpressive… loud, talking and cursing across the store with other employees. The so called manager told me no ice cream, she was cleaning it, because it’s disgusting and she won’t serve it to anyone. The place was dead. The soup was good, sandwiches were good, mac n cheese was bland as can be and was cold. $30 for two sandwiches, one drink and one cold and tasteless mac n cheese.I have no intention or interest coming back here. We’ll go to the one in Jacksonville next time we are there.

I either get the salad bar or the wild Salmon ice ( sandwhich) when I go there. Never disappointed with these choices. The salad bar usually has all my desired salad components. The interior could however do with facelift. I would say that a lot of people are missing out on Jason's Deli.

I have frequented Jason's Deli several times in the past, but this was a first for this particular location. My only disappointment was the cleanliness of the dining room. It just didn't look like it was kept up and was somewhat dirty. The floors mainly. Other than that, it was a great experience and the food was excellent. I had a pastrami sandwich and it was very good. It was plentiful and perfectly seasoned along with the perfect amount of thousand Island and sauerkraut. The sandwich was more than enough for me and my partner.
