The jerk chicken was almost on point smoked perfectly but is lacking just a little on flavor and a little dry the cabbage not favorable the rice and peas lacked the most flavor the curry chicken was on point over all not bad coming from up north if they tweak it just a little it would be worth the 70 I spent on 2 people but over all was decent

Very expensive compared to local pricing, yet the quality did not match. Food tasted okay, but portion size was small, temperature was lacking, and pricing was a bit extreme. 40 dollars for the Ox tail + a drink is a high price to pay for what was received. Not terrible, but would not recommend.

My first time visiting today was ok. The cashier was very very nice. However, I paid for a lunch oxtails for $30. I could only try to eat 1 bone, they were tough like leather. Oxtails are suppose to very tender like roast, it was not Tender. I gave it to a homeless guy. If I return , ill try jerk chicken to keep it simple.

Ordered on Uber eats I tasted Jamaican food before, chicken wasn't bad but the so call rice and peaplease give that to your dogs don't sell it smh . Pure garbage.
I ordered through DoorDash the food came hot that was good. The rice and peas needs more coconut milk and needs to be prepared correctly. Why the rice so white it should have color from the beans. The oxtail have nice flavor but needs scotch bonnet and a bit more seasoning. The Mac and cheese was nasty. It was very dry and takes like it came straight from the box. The Mac and cheese needs more cheese, butter, nice amount of heavy cream not too soupy but like porridge. Put it in the pan layered with shredded cheese and bake until the top is light brown. Your plates are too high to not taste like it’s made by Caribbean hands.

Disappointed. We got our food through Uber eats, spent >$50 for two people before tip and fees. We both ordered jerk chicken and it was dry and not very flavorful. Like a dry rotisserie chicken from a deli. The rice and peas also were not flavorful. My coconut cake slice looked like it was dropped, and was a very small portion for the price. Tasted mediocre. I didn’t even try the beef patty we ordered because the rest of the food was so disappointing. Very sad. I can’t imagine it being significantly better than it was so I don’t understand the many great reviews. Weird.

I stumbled across the place while here in Tampa. I’m always skeptical of trying West Indian food outside of the NYC area. But I was in town and figured I’d give it a shot. I spoke with the young lady that takes the orders and I asked what’s their best dish. She said Oxtails 1st and then their Jerk Chicken 2nd. I explained that I loved oxtail and that I’m very picky about where I try it. She assured me that it was a can’t miss. I ordered it and it was VERY good, nice size portion. I spent about $32 for the a tray of Oxtail with white rice and a Modelo. I highly recommend this place. I can’t wait to go back and try their Jerk Chicken
