They don’t support international parent students. PhD students are swamped with their work at laboratories and don’t have time to cook. They have to take their kids with them. On the other hand, they don’t get paid enough to pay for their kids. That’s outrageous.

Based on the new company policies, Juniper now charges the same amount for children as for adults. This does not seem reasonable, as adults typically take much larger portions in a buffet-style restaurant, while children usually eat only a small amount. As a parent, I have stopped using Juniper and purchasing USF meal plans for this reason.

UPDATE: they recently ditched their services with Aramark and let me tell you i was pleasantly surprised to see their complete rebranding. the food quality is actually good now. things as simple as dishes and cups are no aesthetically pleasing. they changed their menu as well. butter chicken actually tasted like real butter chicken

older review: much poorer service than the other dining halls. food quality is lacking overall. the mediterranean and indian food is so inauthentic. as someone that grew up with both cuisines/cultures, the food they serve is an insult to real authentic mediterranean/indian food.

I am from UCF but I cannot but admit Juniper dining is better than the campus dinnings of UCF.

Attend usf. Had to get the meal plan for the first year. The staff were mostly good. Some portion of the food can be limited but can always go back for second round or as many rounds. The food is fresh but the variety of food was very limited for the whole year. Even though there was about 7 sections or something available most student only stick to two or three for the whole year. I was really excited in the beginning of the school year to eat there because they said they will have food around the whole but seemed like the food being the same for 5 days straight for a whole week got boring. Over all for the first year it’s alright. Pretty expensive for what you’re getting I think.

Honestly, I really like Juniper Dining. Yes, it is a college dining hall and not a five star resort, but the food is almost always fresh and most of the staff take great care of the students. Especially the breakfast never disappoints with made-to-order Omelettes and fresh overnight oats. Sometimes they make fresh cinnamon roles and they have decent coffee everyday. As a college student, this is a great option!

Juniper Dining is very coinvent for all the students that live there and the students nearby. They usually had plenty of options and cycle through Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner daily. They even had some special events with international foods every once in a while. The seating there is ok, good quality but gets filled really fast and you might have to end up sitting with random people, especially during lunch time (11-2PM). The food itself was good, not great which is kind of typical with school food.

Worst dining hall in America. Send your kid to eat here if you want them to be malnourished. On top of that the staff aren't exactly nice people or know what they're doing.

The food is average. The people who work there look unhappy and unfriendly.

The chicken was undercooked, and I ended up getting severe food poisoning like many others who ate at Juniper Dining and The Flip Kitchen. The least students should receive for paying $2,000 for a meal plan is proper sanitation, but they can’t even do that. Simply disgusting and disappointing. Do better.
