Easily one of the best middle eastern meals I've ever had, and I've had many. An unassuming little place tucked away in a strip mall, simple and pleasant and clean inside. Service was super nice, I think it was the owner, a really nice, sincere guy. We had the mixed appetizer and it was absolutely the best we've ever had. Also the mixed meat grill was very very flavorful, with amazing rice. Highly recommended. This will become a regular.
Amazing food as if I was in the Middle East! I started with the lintel soup. 20/10 bold and rich with flavor. Affordable food with overwhelming quality and taste??
My husband and I had a big Masgouf Basa fish for dinner. It was delicious! Grilled so well. The Beryani rice was so good as well.
The make very delicious food, today we Eat Butter chicken, Chicken Beriany, chicken takka very good butter bread
The owner is always always so generous and nice. Always trying to be helpful with everything! The food is very good, we took this time fish and it was delicious. The grilled chicken is my favorite with the chicken shawarma. The owner gave us lentil soup with the order and it is one of the best lentil soup. And the best thing, all is halal! We love to go there always.
Some of the best fish we have ever eaten! We are pretty pucky about eating out and heard great things about Khan Murjan so we had to try it. We are so glad we did. My family order two fish dinners, one iraqi burger, a cheese burger and one mixed grilled plate. Our kids ate the full burgers in less than 10 minutes (usually we have to take half home!) And we all enjoyed our meals. The meat was soft and succulent and everything was aromatic and flavorful. The outdoor seating was nice too! Highly recommended if looking for a meal in the Tampa area.(Also want to add, my stomach didn't feel uneasy or bloated after eating here which is a sign for only the freshest ingredients)
Absolutely fantastic food and service here. We skipped eating the mediocre over priced food at Bush Gardens and instead God served authentic homemade middle eastern cuisine by the owner himself. The Maskoof fish platter was absolutely delicious and unique. I will be back with the whole family.
An amazing experience, the Pompano Fish (Maskoof) was one of the tastiest I ate! Large platterr for plenty of sharing. The owners take great care of u and everything is home made. You can see it in their display case. Just wait until the bring in the pita bread ;).

For Thursday lunch I was looking for a place to order lunch from. Khan Murjan was on my list to have food. So through door-dash I ordered through Khan Murjan. From the menu I decided to order Half Chicken with Chickpea Salad, White Beans Soup, Chicken Shawarma and Iraqi Bread with Garlic and Butter. The service was good and i got my order delivered in 30 minutes. The food that I got was hot and seemed like freshly made.First i had chick pea salad along with the white beans soup. Both were amazing and delicious. I loved their taste. Then I had chicken shawarma which i loved it as chicken was cooked perfectly with good amount of sauce. Then i had half chicken with rice and salad which was delicious with chicken cooked well. Finally, I had the Iraqi bread which i loved it and was cooked perfectly.Amazing and delicious food.
We loved the Maskoof fish. Owner serves customers himself to ensure quality. Very hospitable, offering complimentary tea and lentil soup. Too bad I tried this place on my last week before moving out of Tampa. It would have been a favorite!

Best Arabic restaurant I’ve had in a while, and Me and my brother always eat out. Definitely authentic and the atmosphere is excellent !
Our first visit to Tampa in about 3 years. We were looking for the Afghan restaurant along Busch, luckily we ended up here. First time we have tried Iraqi cuisine. This is absolutely the best, in our opinion, compared to Persian, Afghan, Turkish, Lebanese & Mediterranean food we've had in years. We picked the mixed grill of burger, lamb & chicken. All were excellently marinated & grilled. The rice and the soup were outstanding. The owners were very friendly -- I wanted to add more tips, but he refused and said it we gave him more than enough. We spent $58 for a couple of mixed grills & another dish for take out. Excellent food at about half the usual price. No frills, just excellent food, friendly service and at a good price.
I don't usually eat fish from anywhere but I'm glad I did here. Really good fried and baked fish. The chicken was amazing. All sides and food is really good. ?
Wonderful food and friendly staff. Very reasonable prices too. If you are looking for Middle Eastern food, especially Halal food and are in the Tampa area then would highly recommend Khan Marjan
Cheap on food. Where we come from, CHICAGO, YOU CAN TAKE AWAY SOME LEFTOVERS. HERE if you a good eater will require second portion lol. The side salad comes in a couple of vegetable pieces on top of your main entree. Lmao. Poor service. If you order shrimp, be ready fir messy cleaning they come in shell. Big chunk of onion that's no one can eat. Would be nice to keep air refreshiner to improve the environment wheee you expect people to eat. It's one man show, he is the coock, the servant, the buss man, ! And cashier. Will think twice before going back there. Compare Chicago mix grill, red plate with your joke mix grill
