Food quality has decreased significantly over the past couple years. Tenders used to be freshly breaded, now they feel like they were zero consistency. Takeout orders are made incorrectly as well. With such a simply menu it's confusing how they can get it wrong. This is all in addition to the dine-in experience which lacks good service and atmosphere (and the restaurant never feels clean).

This place is great. I got the chicken and waffles. The waffles were amazing. I got the hottest option, and it wasn't super hot (I like spice) their fries are excellent. Service was really good as well everyone was very kind. I'm tough on coleslaw, theirs wasn't anything special. But if you're looking for good food, definitely try this place out.

We had an excellent experience at King of the Coop. We got the tenders and chicken and waffles. So surprised there was no one at noon on a Sunday in here. Servers were friendly, food came out fast and hot, and the restaurant was very clean. The spice level was perfect and the chicken wasn’t dry at all. I would highly recommend for excellent chicken!

Called and placed an order over the phone. When I opened the box I thought to myself it looks overly seasoned but hopefully it tastes good. WRONG. It’s like I was eating a bottle of paprika. No other seasoning not even salt. It was disgusting! I called to see if I could bring it back because I’m tired of wasting money on bad food! The guy on the phone said the manager wasn’t in until 5. Like come on no one has the authority to refund an order? Don’t waste your time here the food is disgusting!

food decent, good portion sized chicken, but not many sauce flavor choices. Service was fast but not friendly nor welcoming. Bar tender didn’t mention his name or seem happy to have someone sit with him at the bar. No encouragement to come back & honestly probably won’t. Maybe I’d Uber eats it but— atmospheres+service= blah ?

Food review only… we dropped on by lunch. We ordered a couple of items… the fowl bowl is mixed item bowl - it had heat but no flavor. We also got a couple tender baskets. The chicken was fried very well and moist; unfortunately they had no flavor. The same goes for the hush puppies; fried well, no flavor. I think it is the seasoning they use. Maybe old seasoning… because there is a lot of it, and you can feel the seasoning as you eat but again, no taste (flavor). We also did a bacon cheeseburger; we are pretty sure just a cheap frozen patty and microwave bacon - could be wrong but it had that look and taste… otherwise the place looked like somewhere that might be fun to hang out; have a few drinks and play a few games if the location works for you…

The recipients and server were very nice and professional. They made sure I was helped without me asking. Chicken nuggets themselves were good prices. The quality of the meat was good but dry. Reason for 3 stars is horrible practice of adding additional charges to customer. A 3% charge on your order title Kitchens appreciation fee and than ask for a tip after ( i did take out oder). I know ima get some fake comments from management that it's to give employees more money, but you can obviously take 50 cent of profit from each individual item and give it to the employees and it won't even make a dent in the profits

I ordered a catfish basket at the Soho location. The electronic menu board said the price was 11.99 “All served with crispy fries, potato bread, homemade pickles, & our special king sauce.” The order rang up to 13.99 (not $11.99) for the basket PLUS .75 for dill sauce (really?) and 3.49 for fries. I signed the Visa sale without looking at price but while they were preparing it I did and was quite surprised. When I asked the gentleman behind the register why such the discrepancy he said that the cash register price was the correct price. Huh? That’s an answer? I asked how come the menu price and items had not been changed and he said he doesn’t have any control over it. He said that it is done at corporate. I asked to speak to a manager and he said he was the manager. But from his answer I gathered that he has no access to the ELECTRONIC changeable menu board nor is he allowed to tell people that he’s going to charge them $6.25 more than what is on there. It says it comes with those items but doesn’t? NOPE. He had no explanation! Worse yet he didn’t ask if I wanted them. He just rang them in. Why would I pay more for something included that’s supposed to be included in the price. So I asked for my money back. No way was I going to go along with such deception. Price increases are necessary and we are all adjusting to them. But what I experienced was not a price increase. This was deceitful. Or worse. The manager gave me a credit back to my Visa card. Handed me a credit receipt. But when I got my visa statement there was no credit. Just the original charge. My guess is that the manager didn’t like me asking what kind of manager has no authority much less what kind of one would do what he did? Then he probably tossed my credit slip in the trash. Or corporate didn’t like having to refund someone their money so they threw it in the trash. Regardless I called Visa and actually one of their people was in so much disbelief they laughed. Of course they gave me my money back without hesitation. Maybe Coops will quit trying to rip people off but I doubt it.

We were SO excited to try this place and unfortunately it was beyond DISAPPOINTING. I tried to blame that it was game day but it was 2 mins in the 4th quarter... lol.It took 10mins for someone to seat us, another patron gave us menus and recommended menu items. We were sat and waited another 15mins for a waitress. We were told a 45min wait so we ordered garlic knots to come out first. 25mins later we got everything at once. The appearance was on point but the food was not. My bowl was cold! Nothing was warm. The garlic knots hard and the marinara sauce had to just been taken from the fridge, not warm. The cheese fries, the cheese was barely melted and deff had been sitting there for a while. The only good things were hush puppies (but how could you mess those up?) And a chicken sandwich the bf ordered. It was supposed to be hot flavoring but deff wasnt, still tasted good. I waited another 10 mins or so for the waitress to come back to check on us and I told her about the food and asked how did it leave the kitchen cold. She didnt have an answer. Took the food away and I sat there while the bf finished his food. She did ask if I wanted to wait another 30mins for something else but after being there so long, I wasnt interested in supporting a small business that doesnt take pride in their service or temperature of their food. Its a shame bc it truly seemed like a place we'd frequent. Also, parking... FORGET ABOUT IT! Their parking lot has signs everywhere to park at your own risk. This is due to a broken parking lot, absolutely NO pride in ownership or safety of their customers. It dropped off in a lot of places and would ruin the bottom of any car (trucks were high enough to not rub on the bottom).

My husband and I have been trying to taste King of the coop for about 2years and we were very disappointed by the hype. No one was welcoming ( to be a bar, sports room, game room, sit down and eat type of business). We sat at a dirty table where we were told to sit and had to wipe the food off ourselves... The food was not depicted as it is on social media. honestly I peeped other people's table and no one food looked how it does online. The Mac n cheese was not seasoned looked over cooked a little. I asked for the slaw on the side because I thought it was going to be messy like the picture smh..Crazy thing is at burger culture you definitely get your food the way they advertise & I love chicken more than beef smh. This place is a no for us. 1st and last

Waited 50 mins for 6 chicken tenders. Got one persons entree 30 mins before the rest of the food. When I shared my poor experience with management he told me my opinion is wrong and I should apply to work there if I want better service. So rude and terrible service.

Recently had a company gathering here (Saturday 12-18-22). We had catering, drinks, games, and a private room. It was amazing. I loved the atmosphere. The aesthetic is great and loved watching sports during down time from the gathering. The service was exceptional. I love that the owner made sure to speak to us and make us feel welcome. We had chicken sliders, wings, pizza, and salad. Everything was tasty and the drinks were delicious. It was my first time here since I recently moved to the area. I will definitely keep this as a top option to hang with friends and future company outings. King of the Coop made our event a success. Thank you!

Tenders are honestly pretty big and super juicy. Fries were perfectly fried as well. So good.

My kiddo was craving Nashville hot tenders while we were on vacation and I found these folks by chance. It was fabulous, the only problem was that I should've ordered more nuggets! They were so good!
