I love the atmosphere and the employees I interacted with were nice. But before going there I looked up the menu and I was looking at an out of date menu. So I was disappointed about not being able to get a large Mac n cheese no Chicken Qtrs. And I got by all that. But the only sauce to choose from is the King sauce which I'm not crazy about. Joe, the owner, was so polite and took his time to explain everything to us and tell us about his new spot! Shuffle board, bocce ball courts, plenty of spots to sit and hangout. Food was amazing. Will tell all my friends to come here.
So glad to see King of the Coop back home in Seminole Heights. Been a fan since the Soul Food Street Kitchen food truck days. Huge flavor, huge portions, and real attention to quality. Everything is made fresh: chicken is juicy with a great crunch and perfect heat-to-flavor ratio. Fries are hot and crispy. The hush puppies are always worth it, too. On top of it all, they landed a fantastic new spot. Cool vibe, great place to hang out. Can't recommend this place enough.
