HAD ME SO GASSED UP ON MY LUNCH BREAK. Also got into my first law school after my first order here so the magic is VERY real from these tendies.
I never go out to eat for food bc I’m poor but this was so worth it. First of all it was ready in less than 13 minutes, perfect amount of time for me to walk over from work.
Food wise: I love that the tenders are not drenched in sauce but the flavor is still really apparent (and I have a stuffy nose all the time so if I can still taste it u know they got FLAVORRR). It also keeps the tenders really crisp. Nashville Hot was not super spicy to me, but I also eat spicy food all the time & they have another level up that I will certainly try soon. They’re accompanied by the most perfect fries (nice crunch, soft inside, ideal cut for potato to dipping sauce ratio), PICKLES I LOVE U, king sauce (think mild chipotle mayo), and a piece of bread.
I was full after like 1 tender (they’re ginormous) and some fries. So in reality this is actually 3 meals and that makes this about 6 dollars a meal = good deal.
TY KING OF THE COOP I WILL BE RECOMMENDING TO ANYONE W TASTE??

This is hands down the best fried chicken I’ve ever tasted! The flavors are out of this world—crispy, perfectly seasoned, and absolutely delicious. Joe and Bernard aren’t just amazing chefs; they’re fantastic people who make the dining experience even better. If you’re looking for top-notch fried chicken, do yourself a favor and try it here. I got the hottest they had but it wasn't enough. I'm from Tennessee so you'll have to step it up! Also I prefer wet not dry rub, unless I have wet to dip it in also. I'm glad they had greens though.

The most inconsistent chicken tenders in Tampa. Always high up the list on UberEats where they offer BOGO meals at double the price as a way to look like they're doing a BOGO that doesnt exist.

Ok, not sure what you look for in a chicken sandwich, but I look for a healthy cut of white meat, cooked through but not dry…with a nice layer of batter (not too thick)…and seasoned with that tart and spicy Nashville-style sauce…sandwiched between a soft pair of bund. Well, this place kinda nailed it! Highly recommend!
The best chicken in Tampa Bay! I’ve tried a lot of different chicken places and I’ve yet to find one as good as King of the Coop. The seasoning is just perfect and the chicken deliciously juicy. It’s more of a dry rub (which I prefer), rather than slathered in a sauce. I don’t like the saucy Nashville chicken because more often than not, it’s just hot sauce. But KOTC have mastered their seasonings and the flavor is second to none (the sides are great too). If you’ve tried other hot chicken places in Tampa and weren’t impressed, give this place a try and I promise you won’t be disappointed!

I absolutely love king of the coop it’s has been one of my fav chicken places for a while. The Nashville flavor is 10/10 service is so great. The only thing that could be better is the coleslaw, and I know just the way. If you add some of the pickle juice from y'all's amazing pickles to the mix gives it that little bit of sweetness it needs!

This place used to be great so I came to check out the ybor location. First, it’s oddly inside a bar, in ybor. Which wouldn’t be an issue if it didn’t seam like the food quality has taken a back seat. Definitely not the King Of The Coop I remember trying.
