We came with a group of friends and loved our experience. Service was outstanding and every member of the team knowledgeable about menu items. The food was delicious too! My husband and I definitely plan to return!

I cancelled on them the first and they didn’t charge me and allowed me to reschedule, I showed up late the next time and they still accommodated and were kind about it, the food was good, excellent service by Genesis and chef Javi, highly recommended

Service and atmosphere were top-shelf...food, meh, at best.
Carpaccio and Pappardelle were incredibly salty. The Bolognese lacked depth. Desserts were okay, I guess.
Overall, the service was the highlight, but I'm pretty sure I won't go back. I only had a few bites, and really didn't enjoy anythIng. It feels like they're trying, but just missing the mark. Im grabbing a cheeseburger on the way home.

So pumped this is in Tampa now - a refreshing new blend of exciting flavors and innovative combinations. Chef has over delivered, can’t wait to come back and see the next season’s menu!
Started with a drool worthy bread service and nice Asian tea. Wine offerings were decent though pricey for what they were.
Carpaccio was stellar, literally the best I’ve had in a long time. Chawanmushi was unique and packed with flavor.
Pastas were perfectly made, excellent layers of flavor and the cappelletti with the pickled radish was just magical.

My wife and I both had the 6 course tasting menu. We sat at the Chef's Counter and we loved the whole experience. Watching Chef Jada plate the dishes as well as listening to her describe and explain each dish was a real treat. We will definitely be going going back to try the a la carte menu.

Last night I surprised my hubby to a culinary experience as an early birthday present. Kinjo is a
Japanese/italiain fusion located in Tampa. It is so unique amazing & delicious all at the same time. The Chef's are so creative with fresh inviting unique offerings. Each dish was a food bomb in your mouth. I highly recommend this restaurant. Reservations recommended.

We went with a group of 5 this week. From the moment we walked in, the service was impeccable. Genesis made the entire experience memorable. Our group ordered every single item on the menu. We didn't have one bite we disliked. The ingredients are fresh, the creativity is second to none, and it left us wanting more. Tampa is quick to release new restaurants and sometimes forgets about all the little details that make a dining experience special. Kinjo is not that. I'd put them up there with any restaurant in the Tampa/St Pete area. Can't wait to go back.

Kinjo is easily one of the most impressive dining experiences I’ve had in Tampa — this place is artistic, flavorful, and genuinely special. The space feels cozy and intimate, and the staff couldn’t be nicer or more accommodating. You can tell everyone here takes pride in what they do. Honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised if Kinjo earned a Michelin star in the future.
We started with the Wagyu carpaccio, Caesar salad and the bread platter, and all three were incredible — balanced flavors, beautiful presentation, and great textures. For entrées, we had the Bolognese with a Japanese twist and the cappelletti with 100-year aged balsamic. These might be two of the most flavorful pasta dishes you’ll find anywhere in Tampa; the depth and richness are on another level.
For dessert, we tried both options, and the standout was the caprese salad dessert — an absolute must-order. It’s creative, refreshing, and unlike anything you’ll find elsewhere.
From start to finish, Kinjo delivers a true culinary experience. Exceptional food, exceptional service, and exceptional attention to detail. This is a restaurant I’ll be returning to often. Highly recommended.

Amazing meal with an enjoyable atmosphere and the BEST service! Some highlights were the scallops, foccacia, and the pasta was to die for. I wouldn't hesitate to order anything on the menu, it was THAT good. Everything was beautifully presented and so creative! Be warned though, it is a very small restaurant-- reservations are a must. Price was also right on point for the high quality of the food.

Italian Japanese Fusion? Sounds crazy, but it works. For example, ahi tuna cut into long strands like spaghetti in a cream sauce with pistachios or a “caprese” made with a tomato paste coated sorbet and a sweet substitute for the mozzarella. 5 course tasting menu with optional wine pairings, optional dollop of caviar on the wagu in a squid ink shell, and optional 100-year-old balsamic vinegar. The options will double the price of the tasting menu but spoil yourself.

We had a date night here the other night and loved the experience. Parking was a challenge (but not impossible), they share a small lot with a few other businesses. We arrived half an hour early (which never happens) and they were not only able to seat us, but they also bumped us up to chef's counter. SOOOO happy we did that instead of table service. The food was amazing, every course. Interaction with the staff and Chef was great. The atmosphere was perfect. This is definitely an elevated dining experience that's a must for any serious foodie. Sorry no food pics, just before/afters. We were way too busy enjoying everything ☺️
