Wow!!! This place truly shocked me! I ordered the oxtail and rice, worth every penny spent! I will definitely be back!

Hard plaintain on multiple occasions. I specifically ask for them to give it fresh and when I picked it up it was a disappointment. The lady gave me my food with an attitude smh. Never again

Top tier Haitian creole food in Tampa. I typically call in my order and it’s always ready for me when I reach. The food never disappoints.

I walked in at 9:20pm may 11th 2025, I asked for wings and fries she said they don’t have it I asked for another item she said they don’t have it very bland and rude so I asked for legume with rice and beans and piklis she said they don’t have rice and beans only white rice I said okay I’ll take that, then she proceeded to talk to the other girl in creole and laugh then go to the back to make my food, I recorded them because my sister is Haitian and I wanna know what they said before making my food(btw I did not eat it gave it to a homeless guy). I will not be eating here anymore two stars for being cheap 21$ but customer service sucks and I felt very unwelcomed. Then she gave me black rice and not white rice.

First, I walked in an the smell of cannabis took over the place. I understand that it could have been the person who just walked out with hus order. 2nd, the small amount of food given for the price is ridiculous. Example, fish platers from $50.00 to $63.00. 3rd, the pork was not well seasoned, there was an unrecognizable type of dry meat in the vegetables dish. Fourth, The fried plantain came from the frozen Goya type plantain bags in the freezer section at your local grocery store. The guy at the front is not welcoming at all.

If you care about getting your moneys worth beware. I paid 18 dollars for fried turkey which only came with rice and beans . No sides are offered which is outrageous for the insane price. I got approximately 3 medium to small sized pieces of turkey and maybe 2 pieces of baby sized pieces which just looked like they were broken off from a bigger piece of what was supposed to be a whole piece of turkey. The rice and beans were okay and the pikliz lacked any flavor the turkey was very rubbery and chewy not worth the price

By far, this is the best restaurant in the US. The place is small and personal. The food is simply amazing. The atmosphere is very nice. I will go there each time I visit Tampa for sure. We had the "Patté Poulet" and Lalo with white rice and black beans. L

Let me tell you about this hidden gem in Tampa that had me doing a happy dance in my truck! I’m a truck driver, and trust me when I say this: I know good food. I was craving Haitian food so bad, and this spot didn’t just satisfy me—it blew my mind. It’s been a minute since I’ve had Haitian food (shoutout to Hollywood, Florida), but this place took me right back with every single bite.

I walked in thinking I’d grab a plate and leave. Nope. I left $70 lighter because I bought everything. The sauces? Yup, had to take ‘em. The food? Let’s just say I needed a moment of silence after the first bite. Every. Single. Bite. was like a party in my mouth where the guest list was just pure flavor.

Not only was the food fire, but the customer service was top-tier too. They treated me like family. And then the lady hit me with the cherry on top: “Some days, we teach people how to dance Kompa!” (Okay, I may have butchered that spelling, but you get it.) Now, I wasn’t there for the dance lessons, but the thought of dancing after a meal this good? Sensual, beautiful, and probably hilarious after all that food. I’ll definitely be back for that!

Sorry for the late post. I ate there yesterday and I’m enjoying my food that I bought for the next day right now so I’m just excited and I’m happy thank you so much. Oh just so you know I got: Tassle turkey black beans that are off the chain, all the pickles that they could find The (spicy coleslaw stuff for people that don’t know.)
And for the other meal I got To go , I got Legume with rice. I got three single bottles of hot sauce, different flavors and I got one huge mason jar of their sauce that you can eat with like bread and like another meats and also got the ginger beer I was so happy and I’m about to be super happy right now. About to eat this food right now.

The plaintains were hard and they didn't have any pikliz. In addition, the rice they gave me was full of gratin and it was a kid size. They are only getting 3 stars because the meat was good. All the sides were trash
