Kenji our chef was great. Food tasted delicious and was super friendly. Our server Isabel was friendly and attentive as well. Love going here for birthdays and just for good dinner out.

We always love coming here for birthdays & special occasions. Our grandchildren enjoy watching the chef cook in front of them & he's usually very interactive & fun with the kids. The chef we had this time was very bland & unengaging. The service was extremely slow. No one there offering drink refills, waited for 15 minutes or longer after finishing eating & waiter boxing leftovers for him to come by & my daughter told him her daughter didn't want the birthday cupcake. They never offered the birthday singing/gong event. Just really disappointed when we always enjoyed everything so much here at Kobe previously. This is where our oldest granddaughter picked to come for her dinner now we will have to rethink if the younger one wants to come here next month on her birthday. Lacking staff & enthusiasm it seems while you still pay a mandatory 20% gratuity on your check. I don't mind paying that plus extra for great service but this was not the night. Definitely gone downhill. On a good note the food was excellent & plentiful, which has always been the case when we have come here. Maybe we just hit a bad night otherwise, therefore the star ratings. 🤔
