Kobé Japanese Steakhouse - New Tampa

Although I reserved days in advance, there was still a bit of a wait, but the overall experience was outstanding. Everyone truly enjoyed themselves, and the amount of delicious food provided per person was generous. This was my first time and I am already looking forward to the next.

Both our cook and waiter were on top of things ...presentation and quality was top notch. Definitely coming back to this location.

A/C vents dripping over Guests while sitting at the table. Floor was very slippery. The food was great!

As a person who has shellfish allergies i was pleased that everyone at the table were asked if there is any allergies. The server noted the allergies and when the chef arrived to the table the allergies were confirmed individually.

Food and chef were great. Service was very slow. It was just my daughter and I and we were at a table with bdays and they made us wait to pay and leave until they were done. We stayed for a total of 2 hours (30 min extra that wasn't needed waiting on checks and boxes and some random bday). Service was super slow, my daughter didn't get her drink until hibachi was served.

The food and experience was good overall. The only complaint we had was our server took forever bringing out my drink. I had to ask again, just to be told that she forgot to put it in, so it took even longer to receive my drink. I wish the cook had a little bit more interaction with the kids, usually they do, but this cook did not do that. It was still a decent night overall.

We have gone to Kobe for years. It is a great place to celebrate a birthday, anniversary or just to have a fun meal with family or friends. We recommend it to anyone that enjoys hibachi grills.

Over the past decade or so, very solid place to go. This last time was disappointing as the waiter and the cook's personalities were so off putting in many ways and most importantly didn't respect many of the guests dietary restrictions. I'm certain this was just a fluke, but just disappointing.

My only complaint is my broccoli was hard, not cooked all the way. Also my husband asked to have an icetea with the meal. They started to serve the me meal and he never got his drink. He had to find the server to ask for his drink.

We love this new location. The building is beautiful and it never feels too crowded or loud. Our server Chad was great! He was attentive, energetic, and even had some jokes for us. His personality really added to our night out. Overall great experience.

Lively atmosphere. There were 2 staff members per hibachi seating station - someone serving drinks, soup, and salad; the other is the chef. The general server was amazing. Friendly, professional, similar size portions for each person. The chef's skills were great. Entertaining. His portion allotment was quite skewed, however, with a seeming preference for the left side of the table. Of course with this style of cooking, there is no way for everyone to get the same amount, but in this case, there was quite a discrepancy in portion sizes between the two families. I feel that there should have been more balance. For example, my brother asked for double veggies instead of the rice. He basically got one portion of veggies (of course no rice) and the chef gave the other side the rest when they did not ask for double veggies. Just some feedback so future customers do not experience the same type of scenario.

Overall was very good! Restaurant was beautiful inside! Food was tasty and had excellent service. However, 10 people to the hibachi grill table was too tight. Plates overlapping and not enough space to actually eat comfortably. Temperature in restaurant felt like a sauna and that made it also quite uncomfortable. Please change that seating arrangement for the comfort of your customers. Especially those who have the end of table, people sitting on the corners of grill, were terribly disappointed.

The food was outstanding. I ordered the tuna poke bowl and it was absolutely delicious. We had excellent customer service from the bartenders. First time going and plan to return.

Our scallops were very overcooked and chewy. Chef Tony the Tiger was quiet. No one heard anything. Floor was extremely slippery too. Usually we love Kobe but not the best this time.

We had a great experience at Kobe. The food was excellent, the service outstanding. They were even able to accommodate many dietary restrictions of our large party. This is our second time at Kobe and we have been very satisfied both times.
