Kobé Japanese Steakhouse - New Tampa

Our food was all undercooked, especially the eggs (runny) and vegetables (hard). They clearly just wanted to turn over the table.

This was the worst steak I had in my entire life. Not cooked as requested, brought together with the starters, soaked through with moisture, no crust and plating/ presentation was like in a food court

Doors opened about 10 minutes late, so we were waiting outside. Very nice ambiance; great/friendly staff. On the negative side, we were a group of 7 and we had to have 2 additional people at our table with every single other table empty. Also, I found the protein from the grill very salty, but otherwise delicious

I visit this location at least once a month. I visit so much I know many of the staff. This visit was the worse experience I've ever had at any restaurant. For starters, after being seated, it took 20 minutes to receive service. Then, once being seated, it took several minutes to receive water and other starters. Once the food was served (which was great) I had to leave the table and go up front to request a refill of water (which was our first and only after requesting). Then, I had to search the restaurant to find someone to request the check so we could pay and leave. Then, after receiving the check, I discovered it was wrong, it took another 15 minutes before this was corrected. The server was very unpleasant and the manager didn't appear genuinely interested in hearing my complaint. After taking my family here on so many occasions, I'm very disappointed. Very.

Our waiter wasnt attentive at all. Sat without water for a very long time mid meal. Extremely loud- there was a table with 10+ kids in the middle of the restaurant all screaming.

Our chef was AMAZING!!!!! This was theee best experience ever. Chef Bruce Leroy I believe was his .... Was PHENOMENAL!!!!!!! Definitely will be back

The chef and waitress were excellent!! The food and atmosphere were amazing 😍🤩 I enjoyed my dinner and had an wonderful time.

We had Sam and Diego . Sam are chef was just as nice to look at as the show . Food was delicious and Sam was very entertaining. Diego was attentive

Service was exceptional! Food was amazing. Our chef Sam had such an amazing presence. He kept the table laughing . Accommodated to everyone’s allergies and last minute modifications and was super kind. Our Server Diego also catered to our table very well. We had a big party and a lot going on but he made the proper adjustments for us and kept the energy light 💛! Thank you both!

This was terrific! Diego was great waiter, very patient and kind. Our chef Sam was phenomenal! Food cooked to perfection! Sam was the life of the party! Made this graduation day even better than it already was! Thank you both for your service and such a great time! If you come here you will want Sam to be your chef! Highly recommended this place to anyone!

Bruce Leroy was our chef - he was AMAZING. We havent laughed and enjoyed ourselves at a Kobe meal experience to that level in a long time. Always a great time - this one was the best! Food was great - all staff was very attentive! Would definitely recommend!

We had such a fun time here! The whole experience was awesome from start to finish. Our waiter, Alex, was super friendly and attentive, and Chef Randy made the hibachi show really entertaining. Lots of laughs and great food! Everything was cooked perfectly, and the portions were huge. You definitely get your money’s worth. Highly recommend if you’re looking for good food and a great time!
