This has always been a great Japanese Hibachi Restaurant. Steak and Shrimp is always excellent. We have been watching remodeling as they get ready to move to their new larger location, and we look forward to the Grand Opening!

This review is for the Dale Mabry location, since the New Tampa one is temporarily closed. EXCELLENT experience! Carlos was our chef and he did wonderful. He included his own jokes and interacted with the younger audience so nicely. We were the last table to leave the restaurant, so for him to have so much energy like it wasn't his last one...is impressive. The food was as always-delicious and super flavorful. We never leave Kobe feeling dissatisfied.

Average at best. If you like to celebrate your birthday it's great for that, but you certainly will pay a premium for it. Good ok.

I've been here a bunch of times and always enjoyed my experience. For some reason, this time the food was just ok. Not sure what it was but didn't really wow me this time. Not too flavorful and just ok. They increased all pricing on the menu so you would think it would be at least the same quality or better but no. They did however give us a lot of food. Not sure if it was Bc we had our own table since we dined in when they opened. Also, they are closing this location and moving down BBD in November/December 2021.

Well we were looking for something new and was luckily able to get a reservation for 30 Minutes later...glad we did. The kids loved watching the food being cooked on the grill and the cook was very friendly. Now the important part the food. The food was great I had the filet mignon and it was one of the most tender steaks I've had in awhile. The noodles and rice we great too. The kids had a good time my wife loved it and the Saki was delicious. I highly recommend!!! They do birthday celebrations for you at the table. Our son loved it!

Really disappointed that Kobe requires credit card information to make a reservation. The tone was that it's a privilege to dine at Kobe's. Customers pay their bills or they go out of business(you're privileged to have customers support you). I'll never support another Kobe's! Too many other places to choose from.

Love this place. Perfect for my son's 17th birthday! Socially distant from others and love how reservations keep people apart. Kobe's is always a hit! Waygu steak was to die for!
We just moved to the area & came here for a chill dinner. Our chef Leemun was so fun & sweet! Definitely recommend this place for families or large groups. You will enjoy the great food & service. Oh ,and the drinks were yummy !

Very big portions where you will end up taking food home and the quality of the food is decent. You are not able to customize anything, for example the vegetable fried rice comes as is for the entire table, you cannot add chicken to it. The same goes for the rest of the menu where I was not able to make any of my food spicy and they gave me Sriracha on the side. If I come back, I would probably try other menu items and hopefully give it more stars.
