This is my first time here the lady in the front was super nice!
My first impression walking in is it smell extremely bad. Like bad fish, But the ratings were still good so I decided to try it.
This is definitely not like the location on Nebraska. I don’t believe this location makes their food fresh. My order came really quick, which I was happy about however, when I went to eat it, the crabs inside were cold. The sauce was real watered down. I almost feel bad for leaving and not so great review because the lady was so nice. However, the food was not so good. Crabs were cold, sauce was water down, no flavor. Price was good.

This place has delicious seafood. It’s the seafood boil experience but tasted more fresh and light! Their seasoning is consisting of herbs and spices but less pasty as if they didn’t use a lot of oil and store bought seasoning but used fresh ones and fresh seafood! I very much enjoyed it compared to my usual heavy (but still equally flavorful) experience. I was able to actually enjoy and finish most of my combo selection than I usually am!

I try to eat here at least a few times a month. The staff is so friendly, the portions are generous and the food never disappoints! Please show this small business some love!

If this is the only seafood restaurant near you, do yourself a favor & go to the nearest grocery to purchase & cook your own seafood. The sauce was gross & clumpy, I paid for cleaned blue crabs but got whole blue crabs instead, this very website says they open at 9am but they don’t. I went to replaced the food early & get it over with but the doors are locked. I didn’t eat what they sent because it wasn’t what I ordered & once this is settled I won’t be back.

The food was not good, it made me so sick so I question whether it was fresh or not? Eat at your own risk.

The quality was poor and the quantity was poor. We did a social test, if you are not part of their community you definitely don’t get a quality meal for your money. Avoid this place, it’s not worth it.

We found this hidden gem seafood restaurant on Facebook, food was delicious, portions were great & the service was unmatched, it is family owned and operated so if you looking for authentic Egyptian seafood, this is the place.
Best Cajun seafood in town, hands down
The restaurant is geared more for to go orders though they are very welcoming if you want to dine in but you need to order in advance as they prepare everything fresh from scratch

Ok, so first of all I have never actually ate at this establishment. I noticed this on the Too Good to Go app and figured you know what, let me look at this menu because my wife and I love seafood. Maybe we'll go and eat there sometime. Reviews are extremely important to me. I check reviews for literally EVERYTHING. Often times, it is less about the amount of stars, but more about the words being said, and the responses to that by the establishment. If someone posts a negative review, that doesn't instantly scare me off. What's extremely alarming in this case though, is the responses of ownership. Could someone have lied about something? Sure. Could someone's pallet be different and they just didn't like your food for whatever reason? Sure. Ultimately though, you have no control over those things. You simply provide quality food and service, and let the chips fall where they may (in regards to the reviews you receive). With 4.7 stars, the establishment is doing fine. But I was instantly turned off when I read some of the responses by ownership. I wrote this not to bash or bring down, but in the hopes that it allows whoever is writing responses to these reviews to see the err of their ways. Respond with grace please. The combative, and at times unprofessional nature of the responses made me decide not to spend my money there. If someone posts an unfavorable review handle it politely, apologize, and invite them to contact you with any issues, in the hopes that your positive interaction will draw them back. If you have an issue with the Too Good to Go app, don't be a partner. The sole purpose of the app is to minimize waste, and making extra money in the process is a bonus. That doesn't mean that food should be of lesser quality or even worse, lesser health standards. Take pride in your food and service, because people don't forget their first impression. Whether it was through a waste-minimizing app, or a sit-down dinner. If you were giving it to the homeless, then why not continue doing that? Doesn't that help carry out the mission of minimizing waste? It just doesn't add up. Praying this helps ownership understand that you have to be more mindful of the way you handle these situations.
