The bread, bakery items, empanadas, stuffed potatoes are good. I am not a fan of their hot food except the sancocho. The food tastes more Cuban than Puerto Rican to me. Their customer service is poor. Doesn’t have the warmth you will expect from a Puerto Rican atmosphere. The signage for ordering should be updated. There are two “order here” signs. Specify if one is for the bakery/sandwiches and one is for the hot foods. That small change will improve customer service. Also, consider having a spot for the delivery drivers avoiding them cutting in front of customers to get their orders due to their time constraints. I don’t visit often mainly because of their customer service and set up.

This review is solely based on service. I came in today on my 30 minute lunch to order food. I stood at the front counter for about 5 minutes nobody even acknowledge me. I turned around and walked out. Train your employees better customer service skills because without us you will have no local business. I will not be returning.

Food was ok and even though ppl is nice you have to do the line again for pastries behind all that are asking for food...I believe that should be separate. Place needs more cleaning since flies where around tables...

A visit to this bakery used to be a treat after a VA appointment. Their food and coffee are good. Their traditional Puerto Rican cake was something we enjoyed.

Today, we found out the baker has changed and their Puerto Rican cake is no longer the delightful treat it used to be. The cake is not as flavorful and the frosting relies heavily in a shortening or similar ingredient that gives you an unpleasant taste. We learned this when we asked one of their staff who confirmed it was not the same recipe/baker. We expressed we wouldn’t be able to eat it and she didn’t seem bothered. Just kept walking.

We also witnessed an employee treating a newer cashier so harshly that it was uncomfortable to see. We felt sorry for the cashier who had been pleasant to us, the customers.

Food is a highly competitive business. Customers remember how they’re treated and make decisions based on this.

No croquetas, ever! No matter the time I go, either they aren't done or they ran out and by 9am they are all out and never fry more. So annoying 😑 the sandwiches are good but simple. The service should smile more, say good morning the girls look miserable!
