Don't get a dish with rice. The rice tasted like chemicals; perhaps the rice had been stored near the cleaning supplies. The tostones might have been a better choice. As others have said, this is not a restaurant but a cantina. I think men gather here to drink rather than eat. There is no menu. If you want great food, please look elsewhere.

Came across this place while looking for a Dominican Restaurant in the area. Let me start by saying that this is a bar no a restaurant. They do serve food but they didn’t provide a written menu, and the music was way too loud I could barely hear the server. The place is small for such loud music, your head pounds, not enjoyable at all. Nice selection of songs though, oldies but good salsa and merengue. We ordered to go because of the loud music, and we had the kids with us as it said restaurant on the name, but the atmosphere at 2pm on a Sunday was already that of a night time bar. Think of a barrio disco bar that happens to serve food. Now the servers were pleasant and friendly. The food so so. I was craving Dominican chicharrón and asked before ordering if they had chicharrón, and was given over fried pork, the rest of the food was meh… so if you are looking for a restaurant to enjoy a nice Dominican meal, this is not the spot.

Visited this location because it was close and convenient to where I stayed. When I walked in I though I was in a night club because of the setting. No menus to see, girl walks up to attend and shares what they have. No pricing revealed until order is served. Music ok, could still hear the server. Not children friendly. Good food quantity but prices way too high. I paid $23 for one person on a basic meal. Chicken, rice, beans and salad. No drinks!! Other Latin restaurants prices are much lower. Won't go back.

It is not a restaurant, it is a Dominican bar that sometimes serves food, depending on the mood of the cook and the waiters who work there.

The food is very poorly presented for takeaway. It looks like it was served to a recruit. Chicken has more bone than meat.

They make the best shrimp with coconut sauce in Tampa Bay.
