Sandwiches are alright same with empanadas. Baked goods again they alright. Guava and quesitos are good.Take out is cray to say the least! Just build in like 30 minutes to whatever they tell you the time is when your food will be ready then you will still wait once you get there 5 to 10 minutes. There timing leaves something to be desired.

The 2 star review is because this place is dirty. Nobody cares to clean it. The floor, the tables are dirty. One of the employees was using same gloves all time, touching the screen and counters and then going back to prepare the food. Disgusting!

We went to the Kennedy location first but they were temporarily closed. So we went to this location. The food was amazing! However the atmosphere wasn’t great as there was a roach on the ground in the order area. This location appears to be mainly for pick up as there is no seating.

I loved my Cuban sandwich from here. Great bread, good mojo pork as a base and more than fair pricing on the sandwich which was huge. Also got a quesito and it was so good, a lot of times these are dry where there's no cheese but this was moist and buttery every bite. This is not a tourist trap but a legit Cuban bakery.

Tony’s Turkey used to be one of my favorite sandwiches in town. Went in today forgetting why I don’t go anymore. They switched from sliced turkey breast to formed turkey meat a few years ago. Disappointing.

BIG TRASH. Let me start by saying I love the history of Tampa and how there are many restaurants that have existed for years. La Segunda on 15th st in Tampa is one of these places. I have lived in Tampa for over a decade and have always driven by this place and there always seemed to be a line. So I figured, ok they must be good. So I stopped this morning.
Boy was I wrong! Maybe I ordered the wrong thing. I dont know. I ordered the deviled crab and the Avocado and egg sandwich. It came to almost $18.00. RED FLAG number one.
I love Deviled crabs and I noticed there are a few places in Tampa that prepare these and all of these places prepare them differently. Obviously. Well La Segunda does not have these well prepared. No crab at all, see attached photo, and no taste. The food item outside of the crab, not sure what is was, was mushy with no taste. Im telling you, it was absolutely disgusting and I was beyond annoyed. For real. This is the most disgusting thing I have had in a long time. SMH
Next. the sandwich, which by the way I could have prepared at home, was also trash. No flavor, everything bland. I think they add the tomato to add flavor, but it did not. For the prices they charge, I expect better. I still have the taste in my mouth and am so mad.
Please, am I missing something? Why does this place have a high rating? Was it just a bad day when I visited this morning? Why is there such a line out the door? Did I order the wrong thing?
Even though the service and the vibe was good, nothing can make up for this horrible, horrible food. I wish I could get a refund. I am soooo mad.
Okay it has been a couple of hours and I still have the taste in my mouth. I have tried everything and it will not go away.
Trust me, stay away from the food here. Do not waste your time, money and taste buds. It will ruin your palate. This experience ruined my whole morning. UGGHHHHHH
