I've been going here for the Cuban sandwich for decades, but found they were closed on a recent trip. There was no signage or anything indicating why they were closed. Does anyone have any info on when or if they will be re-opening?

We have been going to Tropicana as a family since it opened so many years ago. Many saturday morning breakfast celebrations spent with family. No better cafe con leche! In the city Bobby & Monica & Debbie are beloved by all of the regulars! Does anyone know when or if they plan to reopen?

It's okay. Cafe con leche isn't great but it s coffee. It's just okay. I only came in for breakfast but it was all food that could have easily been made at home. Nothing special. Disappointed.

A good choice for lunch while in ybor for people with children. The Cuban sandwich was good, but not great. The cafe con leche is on point, make sure to get a large as the sizes run kind of small. Overall a good experience and ideal for those with children looking for a quick bite to eat.

Don't order the bread steak sandwich. Bailey any meat on the sandwich and didn't even bread it. Will not be getting food from her anymore. Would not compensate for mistake.

Came here during a good tour and it was so good that we had to come back. Had a delicious cafe con leche and egg and chorizo on cuban bread. If you get the chance to pop in here at any time, take it!
