Omg this is the last of the originals small quaint beautiful atmosphere the beautiful person taking my order had such a positive, beautiful vibe. I just wanted to sit there and chill but that's half of the story. The other half is how delicious the food is. The mac and cheese the cabbage. There are not enough words to describe the flavor and the taste very good. Very soulful and well worth the patience to wait! Definitely going back. Definitely taking friends every time. I'm on this side of town for sure. Thank you!!

I love this place! The food is amazing, anyone visiting me I am absolutely bringing them to the ladies of the sea. Everything was delicious and I can’t wait to come back. Derricka was very nice and accommodating.

First time and probably the last time... came from plant city yesterday and got all the way home to discover they forgot my man's fried clams with his seafood platter (that doesn't come with a lot of seafood at all as it is) and my daughters side of fries with her dirty crab plate...
My turkey wings were over cooked and chewy, and the rice was hard. Oxtails were mostly fat as well. The mac and cheese wasn't creamy at all and very cheddar was very sharp. Not my preference. Needless to say our plates are still in the fridge. The strawberry lemonade and cornbread were great though.

I enjoyed this family owned restaurant while my husband and I were wandering around Tampa. I ordered the crab Shila and my husband had sausage and shrimp. It took a while to get the food. It seemed a long time, but it could’ve been when we were just really hungry, The food was excellent served in to go containers. I think they do mostly do a to go business, we saw several people coming and picking up food while we were there. It was a great portion size and served hot. Fact, I’m enjoying some leftovers today while I’m writing my review.The service was friendly and helpful.

The food was delicious for the most part , the turkey legs were really good . Fish is good, but I prefer the cornmeal coating versus batter. Some of the vegetables tasted like they were doctored from a can. It's better for takeout due to only a couple of tables inside the restaurant. Customer service was not the best .

1st visiting I ordered the turkey wing dinner with Mac n cheese and collard greens and I didn’t like the Mac and cheese but the turkey wings and collard greens was very very good also they have this blue lemonade Omg soooo freaking good I shook had got to cups or even a gallon of it lol they have nice staff I highly recommend this establishment to others

I was visiting and looking for some good soul food and stumbled upon this place on Google. Me and my granddaughter took an Uber and went. First, the lady was rudely loud, the wait was extremely long, I ordered the turkey wing dinner and the turkey wings tasted horrible and looked like Neckbones cut up with no meat, mostly bones, the blue lemonade was too sweet, the Cornbread was crumbling and too sweet, the rice was greasey, the only thing good was the potato salad and lima beans. A waste of money and time.

I tried to call ask questions(visiting from out of town)and's place order I was lifted on hold for more then 10 minutes before I hung up traveled to the restaurant staff was friendly and took order right away but the wait time for food was really long I would say 7 out of 10

My to go is always the turkey wings with a side of yams. My husband usually tries something different. This time he got the baked chicken. Both dishes so tender, full of flavor, and great portions. The owner and family very welcoming. Must try if you haven't yet!
