Great location, cute interior. Customer experience, not so much. I ordered the breakfast sandwich "Holla For Challah" it was a bacon, egg and cheese on challah bread. Asked for NO bacon. Employee told me no substitutions. I politely let her know that I did not want a substitution, I just didn't want the bacon. Again she said it had to be made as is, so I said okay, I'll have the bacon egg and cheese and I'll take off the bacon. She shrugged her shoulders and made me the sandwich. I then asked her if the sandwich was pre-made or frozen and she said no. I watched her make it and sure enough she had to physically put the bacon on it. I'm not understanding why, when she could have easily excluded the bacon on it or tossed it in the garbage.
Business owner, here's a clue... if somebody wants to exclude something on a sandwich, save yourself the "bacon" ...I mean money, and leave it off. π

I actually came here a few months ago (I don't live in Tampa)... But this place was a destination stop for me. Loved the concept, found them on social media-- went in, and everyone was so friendly and personal. Coffee was great, and so was the sandwich that I got. I definitely plan on coming back next time I am out that way. Thank you for all that you guys do!

Looked like a nice little place. Tried to stop in for a cup of coffee and a breakfast sandwich. There are premade cold sandwiches in the case, and I simply asked the barista if she could just pull the cheese off of it. There was an outright refusal based on βa policyβ. As ridiculous as it sounds, they could literally lift the piece of bread up, remove the cheese and then put it back and hand me the sandwich as a result they refused to modify anything.
Now, if this is truly a policy and the employee was doing her job, my complaint would simply be that the establishments policy is absolutely moronic and not accommodating in the slightest customers, dietary preferences, or limitations. The employees attitude was uninspired at best, but if sheβs doing her job, whatever but her demeanor was robotic and ignorant.
Tough to say if the food is good or bad as I was unable to eat it.

I wish I could share videos to show you how nice and lovely the workers were ! This was my first time here and my boyfriend was the one who found this place. From the minute we walked in and were greeted by Amy, to leaving it was lovely. From the decor to the music to how lovely all workers were I would absolutely come back! We had the signature coffee of the month which I believe was the S'more's latte and it was a HIT!!!!! It tasted phenomenal, and my boyfriend isnβt too big on coffee and loved it. The food was also amazing, I donβt remember what I got but it was 10000/10! Thank you for such a lovely visit, and AMY thank you for your welcoming service !

Holy Canoli. Lady in the Mug has THE BEST Chai Tea Latte that I have ever had. It took everything in me to not chug it.

I come here because I love the chai but the blonde employee has been rude multiple times. Next time Iβll just go to Oxford.

I was impressed with the amount of different options for gluten-free, but the quiche I had was just okay. My cappuccino was good, and the vibe was very cool.

Such a cute place! Loved it, our sandwiches and lattes were delicious. Only thing that seems odd is to be charged for our flavors.. that should be included. Other than that, 5 stars ππΌ

I was in the area and decided to search for a nearby coffee shop to grab some morning coffee. Lady & the Mug came up in my search, and I decided to give it a try. I was fortunate enough to find parking right in front of the coffee shop, which made my visit even more convenient.
When I walked inside, I was immediately impressed by the cozy and inviting ambiance of the shop. It had a warm, relaxed atmosphere that truly captured the essence of a great coffee spot, making it a perfect place to start the day.
From the menu, I decided to go with a classic Drip Coffee and a Vegan Burrito for breakfast. My order arrived promptly, and I started with the Drip Coffee. It was excellent--smooth, rich, and made with freshly roasted coffee beans that gave it a wonderful depth of flavor. It really hit the spot for my morning caffeine fix.
Next, I dug into the Vegan Burrito, which was equally satisfying. The flavors were well-balanced, and every bite was delicious. It was light yet filling, and the combination of fresh ingredients made for a great breakfast option.
Overall, my experience at Lady & the Mug was fantastic. From the ambiance to the food and coffee, everything was spot on. It's definitely a place I would return to for both the quality of the coffee and the welcoming environment.

Staff is absolutely amazing. Inviting, friendly. The menus is cute and has lots of clever tasty sounding options. The food was lack luster, all big box frozen items heated and put on cute plates. Lacks flavor and quality. Coffee was okay, the beans they use are very mild flavored and donβt offer much in the cup. Wonβt be back but a very cute concept.

The vegan options are really sad. I had the mcmuffin and the quality was not great. The worst item was the vegan breakfast burrito though. It had two spoons of sad chili on it. Everything tasted microwaved and like a depression college meal for a boy bachelor.
It was my first time visiting Lady and the Mug coffee shop in the heart of downtown Tampa and meeting the owner and her friendly staff , truly made my day!!
They took the time to tell me about the delicious menu and I was definitely interested in trying the Matcha as well as some breakfast items. I ordered a honey lavender iced Matcha with the mother clucker crossaint breakfast sandwich and it was absolutely delicious!! π
I love how quintessential and eclectic the coffee shop is from the moment you walk in, the beautiful greenery, and the aesthetics of her motif and decor, the swings are so fun and so much available seating, it feels like your home away from home π«ΆπΌ
I like the SHH room for privacy while youβre working on your laptop π» or you need some personal time. I highly recommend everyone to stop by and have coffee, matcha, pastries, and so much more. Iβm looking forward to my next visit. 10/10 πππππ

The bathroom was out of service for an hour, what a shame. If we were informed that they repaired it, the employee was very kind to let us know. Of course, it was an inconvenience, but nothing with the excellent service of the staff.

The coffee is very good, but the atmosphere is a bit gloomy! Perhaps with better lighting the vibe would improve.
