Talk about bad customer service and a worse Manager’s attitude. Made a reservation over the phone with the Manager for Saturday evening only to show up and find the restaurant closed. Called Sunday morning ( they were open for brunch) and spoke to ( the same manager I made the reservation with) and when I asked what happened all he said was yes we closed for dinner. No explanation, no sorry about that. When I asked why didn’t you at least call me and let me know? No response. So I said well you give me no choice but to write a bad review. His response to that was “ Write a bad review, I don’t care”. What an attitude. And now that I look back at other reviews I see this has happened to other people on other days. Be careful if you plan on going there; they might not be open.

We have tried so many times, but this place has constantly let us down. They had really good food, but the ownership/management has been some of the worst we have experienced in Tampa. Originally was great, then lost their pastry chef and seemingly never replaced them as the party menu became stagnant. Still the sandwiches were good. However, today was the last straw. We drove across town to try them under the new name, only to find it closed on a Saturday at 1:00. No hours were posted, so they may be closed for good... but online isn’t says they are open.

Amazing croissants but terrible coffee and iced coffee (for a French place!) and never opened when it’s supposed to be opened (ie: Sunday morning). Prices are unbelievably high for such simple products. 3 stars just for the quality of the croissants, otherwise, everything else makes it a place not worth the time/money and frustration when you go there and it’s closed... again...

Great french pasty and mousse. I wanna come back when they start serving full menu at full business hours

This place has lost its spark ! The place has lost its character which is such a pity. The environment has no feeling. Menu items often times are unavailable . Those menu items which are available are excellent . I visited on Sunday and the pastry case was almost empty at 11:00 AM. That said, the pastries which were purchased tasted great. The only thing missing at this restaurant is character. Food is fine.

What a wonderful venue for a reunion with friends! Incredible meal, wonderful wine, amazing French bread, array of desserts, attentive service and leisurely pace. Every detail was exquisite. Thanks for an amazing evening!

Hands down the best French toast I have ever had. The Bourbon syrup, fresh whipped cream and toast from croissants combine for a decadent breakfast. Service is a bit slow, but staff is very nice. I will return.

This place is one of my favorites. They recently changed names and the times they are open, but the food still tastes great. Their french pastries are right on point! Highly recommend.

Went today and was fantastic as it used to be when it was So Gourmet. Only difference was much better service than it used to be. Had an amazing tomato and mozzarella panini and two different desserts. Could have easily taken desserts and quiches home!

Super excited Tampa once again has a genuinely authentic and tasty French restaurant & pastries shop! Great food and their baguettes & croissants are as good, if not better, than the boulangeries in Paris!
